Very interesting lecture, especially the segment illustrating the difference in outlook between Jesus and the Buddha. I suppose we are each obligated to make a choice between their mentalities to some extent.

I don’t think we have to choose. The way I understood it was that there is wisdom and love to understand from the teachings of both. I think every religion has value and leaders within it that we can learn from

@@Meandmymirror Yes... but one cannot walk both paths at the same time from a practical point of view. They are functionally antithetical in nature. Jesus sublimated the suffering of all Christians into a mass-spiritual redemption whereas the Buddha assiduously divested himself of worldly concerns to achieve a singular exemption from the destiny of the masses. I look at these choices from the standpoint of the simulation, which really modifies their meaning. There are no sinners awaiting salvation, really--everyone you see is a computational reflection or shadow of yourself--and the path of Christianity is rendered somewhat vainglorious in that "light"... but exciting to experience and likely to yield many adventures. The path of the Buddha acknowledges the real state of affairs from a technical point of view, but I'm not sure how instructive it is to one's humanity. Seems like a halfhearted way to play the game...

There are read Law of One recorded that you can listen to on the LL/Research KZbin channel and elsewhere. If I remember right, they do have the ability and do view our culture's values, watch our entertainment. As far as bodily functions goes, I think once you achieve 5th density and higher, you no longer require chemical energy input such as the plant and animal food stuff we require. The Law of One books does briefly go over the characteristics of the bodily requirements for each density of a positive polarity. As I understand it, the higher the density, the more it's about the mutual enjoyment of sharing the love and light with fellow friends and family members than the meal itself. Although the energy intake is important, it is more than that. You really have to read the books or listen to the recordings
