@CC-fi3pp6 жыл бұрын
@@AbstraktZ In the UK we have A LOT of TV and internet from the USA, idiots who have lived in London years but immigrated from Africa or the Caribbean often foolishly use the american accent they get from the media. Most Black people here can fake an American accent as so much Black media is from the states (the UK road rap is kind of new and only a tiny % of the black media people here consume - it's still mostly american especially movies wise). Apparently 21 Savage began doing the fake American accent immediately like the week he went to the USA - probably the same day - his mother probably had him practicing it weeks before.
@CC-fi3pp6 жыл бұрын
@@AbstraktZ Also keep in mind 21 savage is not the 1st brit to fake being American for fame in rap, Buster Ryhmes grew up in England and had a thick Liverpool accent, P Diddy grew up in England, a member of the rap group Hijack is apparently related to 21 savage and they become they most popular UK rap group of the 80s by goin to the USA faking american accents - and MF DOOM is from they same housing estate 21 savage grew up on in England and everyone from there knows MF DOOM also faked being american to gain fame in the USA, DOOM (real name Dumile) was also part of a usa based black power cult as 21s' family are so they most likely knew or knew of each other so 21 Savage and his family will of known very well how this hustle worked and how to execute it for fame and money.

Black Lives Matter - the group formed in order to reduce the perceived excessive shooting of black suspects by police officers. Why exactly are they now trying to aid the lawbreaking of black citizens based entirely on race, and isn't their choice to select solely on race against their stated principles of reducing racism? Either way I'm not sure how supporting lawlessness in black communities is going to reduce the interactions of black citizens with police, nor the negative stereotype of black citizens with respect to lawbreaking.

His Wiki page claims he was born in Plaistow, London?? I know Wiki is not usually 100% reliable, though. Early life Shéyaa Bin Abraham was born on October 22, 1992 in Plaistow, London, England to British parents Heather Carmillia Joseph and Kevin Cornelius Emmons.[2] His parents separated and he subsequently moved with his mother to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 12[15] in July 2005.[16] He has four brothers and six sisters, one of whom died due to a shooting after an attempted drug deal.[17] In the seventh grade, Abraham-Joseph was banned permanently from every school in DeKalb County School District for gun possession.[18] This led him to begin attending schools around the Atlanta metropolitan area before being sent to a youth detention center.[19] After being released from the youth detention center, he completed eighth grade through an alternative program before finishing a semester of high school; he dropped out in his freshman year following multiple exclusions that he said "exhausted" him.[20] After dropping out, Abraham-Joseph joined a street gang affiliated with the wider Bloods street gang[9] and became a full-time drug dealer, mainly selling cannabis.[20] He also regularly took part in other criminal activities including robbery and grand theft auto, although he was only arrested once after contraband was found in a car he was driving.[21] In 2011, when Abraham-Joseph was 19, he lost his "right hand" man, Larry, in a shootout.[20] In 2013, on his 21st birthday, Abraham-Joseph was shot six times by rival gang members and his brother Johnny "Tay-Man" Abraham-Joseph was killed during an attempted robbery.[22]
