The acts of revenge and violence and furious anger , are frowned upon in the eyes of God and should not be the traits of even a normal good Muslim, so how can it be a trait of an Infallible Imam that God commanded us to follow after the Prophet! People who even ask this question ( and expect it to be done by Imam Ali who is possibly the 2nd greatest man in the history of Mankind that God ever created ) are not only Ignorant of who is Imam Ali , but also Ignorant of the essence & teachings of Islam and how a great Muslim person should behave, even if some of them memorize hundreds of verses of the Qura'an..... in the absence of the right mentor to explain it to them, it will still be unseen in their behavior and lifestyle!

When it becomes so apparent the devious ways of the misleader of mankind, how can we believe anything, when even our own perfected religion was destroyed in those days, and even Ali a.s. could not put it straight!

Our mirja taqleed is Ayotollah syed Sistani. 1) Why do we Shias Shed our blood in Muharram and 21 Ramzan. Yes, I know how Pure Our imams were but Why Shed Blood? I don't have issues with normal matam and Shedding Tears. ( We Live in Pakistan ) 2) Can you please talk about other prophet wives in a bit detailed like Hazrat Saffiyah and Hazrat Zainab ( I'm actually in Issue weather they are okay to call Hazrat Since there has been too much controversy. )

Alaykum Salaam. 1) Shedding blood is an act of expressing our sorrows for Imam Hussain. Not compulsory. And neither is forbidden by most scholars. 2) Will be covered in a separate chapter InshaAllah.

Assalamualaikum As per the narrative, dozens of companions barged to the house of Imam Ali (a. s). When the door of the house was smashed open, it seems Fathima (a.s) would have been behind the door, maybe to open. The intruding companions would have not known her presence behind the door. After seeing that Fathima (a. s) was injured and fainted, they must have been shocked and dumbfounded. When Imam Ali (a. s) saw the incident, in surge of rage he pinned down the intruder to the floor. The whole the incident is an unintended accident. This is evident from the fact that even though dozens of companions came to attack they were shocked to see the daughter of our beloved prophet being injured. They never overpowered Imam Ali (a. s) or attacked him. Even Imam Ali(a.s) realised it to be an unintended act, he controlled his anger and did not take revenge. The bravest one is who can control his anger. This was not the first time. Even in the kandaq war there was a similar incident. Allah knows the truth. May Allah guide us in the truth and give us strength to uphold the same.

Alaykum Salaam. We will request if you can share any historical reference to the statement you made in the comment above. Because if we look at Bukhari and the anger of Lady Fatima towards those who barged at home, along with the statement of Umar when he brought fire to the door of Ahlulbayt, it is it pretty clear that the event was well planned and the only reason Imam Ali controlled his reaction is that it would have led to a full-fledged war.

In the books we find that this happened and did not. Some people belive in it, other dont. I say whatever happened i stay with Muhammad And houshold of Muhammad. If it did not happened? good. If it happened, it happened. Anyway, I am staying on the side the houshold of Prophet Muhammad allways. if this make me a "good sunni" or "good shia" i could not care less about the sect and the labels it gives me. I am a muslim who stay with the Quran, The prophet, and his houshold. Whatever you other do or dont? you can take it with you in your own future home, the grave.
