I have a 68 with a crown Vic and a 72 with the qa1 on it and I think both are comparable with handleing. However it took me about half the time to install the qa1 and I was able to go with my desired wheel set up that I couldn’t fit with the 68 w/crown Vic. The qa1 is more money but it looks cleaner and with the simpler install it’s better investment in my book. Less time installing means more time driving it. I spent 1800 dollar and 20-25 hours on the crown Vic and 3700 and 8-10 hours on the qa1. I picked up a 71 last month I am going to do the jaguar front end swap on. So we shall see how all 3 compare

What's the cost of a decent brake and hub package for your system? That's a added cost you never mentioned. Most guys upgrade the crown vic brakes anyway but I'm just curious. Possibly another $400 to $900? I'm glad someone is finally doing this front end right.

That's a great question! It honestly depends on what kind of package you are going to go with. OE packages could run up to around $250 to $300. If you are looking at Wilwood, Baer, etc. They could run anywhere from $500-$2,000.
