I’ve been running full qa1 on my 65 chev truck 4 yrs and couldn’t be happier in handling! Doing corners posted 45 at 70! Enjoy playing with comp. And rebound depending on attitude for the day. Could not have made a better choice in suspension ! . If you ever need someone in east Texas to showcase the thrill of truck drifting through corners ., safely, or a liaison please let me be your promoter ! Love your product . Have full tubular front ; rear, sway bars.

my dad had a truck that looked almost EXACTLY like this one, until i saw the interior and learned it was originally a farm truck i thought it might've been his. it was completely custom for drag racing when he sold it, i've wanted to find it for years. if i could find it i'd pay anything to have it back, i was devastated when he sold it

That is one of the nicest looking C10 trucks I’ve ever seen. Growing up my grandpa had a red 1972 C10. It was his daily driver. Never garaged. Went through 20+ years of Iowa winters. That truck was used hard over the years. After he passed I bought it from my grandmother with the intent of restoring it but the actual frame itself rotted out. I was able to get a few more years out of it but ultimately it had to go. Virtually everything imaginable had rusted on it. Where the rear control arms mounted to the frame, the actual frame itself rusted and broke. One day I’d love to get another C10 and restore it in honor of my grandpa!

I had the same idea. Old pickup (1983 Chevy pickup) with modern technology. As an everyday car. It was implemented by the Kaiser Kustoms company in Pfaffenhofen an der Roth in Germany. The following was installed: complete QA1 suspension kit😍, LS3 500HP engine with a holley sniper injection system💪 , Dakota digital gauges , wilwood disc brakesand and 20" american racing wheels. 💪greetings from Germany🤝👋

Question… usually these trucks the front tires stick out a bit more compared to the rear tires. Does this kit fix that? Or it stays the same as the factory k member?
@QA1TECH17 күн бұрын
This kit will retain the factory track width so that will not change from installing the front end kit. Some disk brake kits and aftermarket spindles can alter the track width, but the QA1 front end will not in itself change the position.

Do you have any plans to introduce a k-member for the C20s? I’d love to get all QA1 components in a single package, similar to the way you offer it for C10s.
@QA1TECH18 күн бұрын
This is not something on our immediate radar, but could be something we offer in the future. Our current C10 crossmember isn't designed to support the weight of the C20.

cam and headwork is the right way to go...if he wants more boost later it just comes easier. Remember these cars brand new everyone on the st knew not to mess with them. Confusing to a lot of us how a 6 cylinder car could be made fast with very little work back then. Talk about reigniting the 60s hp wars again!! GN GNX then ZR-1 really kicked things off and here we are at the tail end of the 2nd hp wars and the ice powered cars. Sad

Are these useful in the no prep drag racing
@AlexprovzlaАй бұрын
For example or rule of thumb, what would be the minimum of shock travel for an off road vehicle with solid axle?
@carlosmiguel4756Ай бұрын
First point is get a proper coil over setup from a good brand. Cheap ones will ride poorly, harsh, very low or no adjustments at all etc Also don't forget other things not mentioned in the video that can significantly affect how harsh the car rides: tires and silent blocks/bushings. Again, if you're setting up for track only of course it's gonna be hard. If your setting for street daily driving, try to find a good balance using the things he said, you want it to be comfortable but also not driving like a boat with no feedback at all. I have KW V3 in my BMW and they drive like a dream, mercedes-like comfort but when i want to have fun, i adjust the rebound and compression and it's a different beast!!!!
