They used to march on this song and they were fighting alongside japanese troops to free India from britain during the world war 2. The man in the picture is one of most famous leaders of India netaji Subhash Chandra bose. I'm Indian myself, and I am happy that the Indians and other Commonwealth troops were able to keep the IJA out of India, so that at least we did not have to deal with the horrors that the rest of Asia faced. Japanese war crimes were far worse than whatever the British did. And at least there was *some* good to British rule in India. Bose wanted India to side with Japan and would have ended India with it. Gandhi never picked sides, he was neutral to both, and simply asked the British to leave. Respect him, a man who deserves it.

From Indian-Burma border, only INA entered India. Moreover, there was clear instruction to the Japanese Army from Hirohito and Tojo that An Inch of Land occupied by either INA or Nippon in the Indian Soil will be handed over to the PGFI.
