These A-380's are just so big & complex I think that's one reason they fell out of favor with some airlines. They say pilots and passengers love them, accountants not so much! I always wanted to fly to Antarctica (but not land) I wonder if they saw much below or were over the sea mainly.

Agree…though I have to admit am one of those passengers, because when booking internationally and an A380 is an option, it makes the decision for us, winning hands down…even if means have to alter the holiday. If FlightRadar24 map is accurate, suspect they just got to waive at it in the distance unfortunately. Do they still do those scenic flights over Antarctica?

@@gdayworldwithlallisa Yes I want to fly QF-11 A-380 to LAX before they are eventually replaced by the A-350's Qantas has ordered . Hope they operate them into next decade.

That’s what I thought too, considering A380s do fly in/out of Melbourne, why didn’t they just land there?
