Qatar Airways A350 Business Class Review

In this video I jump onboard a Qatar Airways long haul Business Class service aboard their Airbus A350 aircraft from their home in Doha, Qatar through to Oslo, Norway.
Overall, and as ever with the carrier, it really was a superb experience. As part of the detailed review, I'll take you through the experience in Doha as a business class passenger alongside the all important onboard experience from the entertainment through to the food. I'd very much like to get back onboard with the Q Suite as the level of privacy that seat offers is phenomenal and honestly, the only aspect I'd improve about this cabins design. Many however will appreciate the open and airy nature of it, it does indeed make a day time experience that bit more enjoyable as you do feel more in touch with the cabin itself.
A big thanks especially to all of the amazing Qatar Airways cabin crew and groundstaff who helped to make this experience as special as it was!

I love the emirates business class privacy on the A380 window seat. Is there a Qatar seat or plane that has a similar level of privacy? Flown emirates many times and have been very happy so not sure if I want to make the switch.

That seat does look lovely however Qatar have the Q suite which is superior with the closing suite door etc. Their dine on demand sets them apart for sure also 😃

You’re very welcome. Best way is just to check your e-ticket that will say somewhere on it. If it’s the business lite that’s the one without the lounge access typically. All others should be ok :)

Great video mate. Geez the new terminal in DOH looks great with the forest. Outside of the lounges, DOH was always a plain airport so it's nice to see some green. Sucks about no lounge access with the cheaper business fares.

Recently flew to Bkk from lhr via Doha. Done it many times with Qatar. Last trip was ba for first leg. All in biz. Must say the difference in staffing and feeling looked after is noticeable. Even without the q suite I still enjoyed the food and service on Qatar. Ba offering is solid but Middle Eastern airlines are a cut above

Really enjoyed this trip report. Shame your agent didn't book you in the correct fare class to access the QR lounge in Doha. In my opinion Qatar Airways business class is the best in the world. The service and menu are exquisite and I love the presentation. As you point out the seat isn't the most private or most modern but it's perfectly adequate for a 6 hour night flight and miles better than BA. Thanks for sharing this one.

So glad to hear! Agree with everything as ever. Such a shame about the agent booking, was a nightmare with the 10 hour overnight layover on the way over, was banking on spending some serious time in that legendary first class lounge and bringing it all to you. Alas, next time.
