Certainly a step down from the Q suite, but decent enough for a regional flight and the catering was still premium for a short flight. Biggest downside of these seats is the lack of privacy and, as you point out, the cramped footwell. So good to have you speak in these videos - it adds a more personal touch to them. Thank you! The aircraft was initially a 777-300ER with Qsuite but a few days prior to my flight, there was an aircraft change. Nice to experience this product too. I will be speaking more in upcoming videos since it gives a personal touch as you said :)

Being a US citizen,I'm looking at this flight from our perspective--as far as I know, no US carrier flies such a distance at 130am save for the transcons or mainland flights from Hawaii--and the catering? Even in business class,your offering would be fantasy for a 2hr flight! The Doha lounge area had the feel of an art gallery or a lobby of a downtown office tower--very upper class image!

Thank you! The aircraft downgraded from a Qsuite equipped 777-300ER but it was good to experience this product too. The footwell is the same in both seats but I believe row 1 has more space as it’s a bulkhead seat

The Al-Safwa is the best F lounge I have been in...better than the Concorde Room at LHR T5 which is a regular for me. The old seats are not great and limited space to put your personal items. Qatar have been accused in the past of switching aircraft and therefore PAX having paid for the Q-suite are flying the old biz class seat and not acceptable. Happend to me a few times and it was report by Non-stop Dan on one of his flying blogs. Qatar promised to improve, but not sure what has happend since. Good video by the way.

The Al-Safwa lounge is the worlds best lounge F lounge where even the Concorde lounge being great, though cannot match Al-Safwa. My aircract was initially a Qsuite equipped 777-300ER but a few days prior to the flight, there was an aircraft change to the A330 so I was expecting this product in the days leading up to this flight. Nice to experience this product too I suppose
