Unfortunately, there was no divider, at the beginning I thought there is something but it’s not movable :(

Another fantastic trip report, thanks for uploading it. Thankfully QR have now upgraded the CPT-DOH route to an Airbus 350-900 on all flights so no need to endure the 2-2-2 business class configuration. It's great to hear that the cabin crew were so friendly and attentive, however I was surprised that Qatar Airways only offer one meal service and snacks on a 9 hour flight- I would have hoped for a lighter second meal prior to landing. The lounge in Cape Town is pretty bad but that tends to be the case for any airport lounge that accepts Priority Pass- too crowded.

Thanks a lot :) Yeah but even the A350-900 offers different seats, it’s really not easy to fly Qatars Q-Suite 😁 They offer a dine on demand system, I had the chance to get another meal prior landing but you have to order it and I was simply to full 😂 Don’t forget your Amenity Kit from my last video, you won and I wrote a message under your comment 👍🥂

Cape Town International Airport has a second Premier Lounge now but its closer to the end of terminal. Much better and more spacious. However, everyone goes to the one in the vlog as its at the entrance.

2-2-2 configuration is definitely outdated but actually great when travelling with somebody - as you don’t have to sacrafice a window seat to sit next to your travel companion 😁 The meal service seemed pretty impressive indeed 😋 Great video!

Yeah you’re totally right 😁 this configuration is outdated and I like the Q-Suite much more 😁 But it doesn’t matter which plane you get, Qatar‘s catering is awesome and the cabin crew super friendly 👍 Thank you so much for your comment 🥂

That is a big suitcase/ Sitting next to someone can be awkward but you never know, the next person you sit next to might turn out to be the love of your life. LOL. What do you dislike about, cheese? It was nice to receive three kits. I guess your neighbor was tired. I am happy you had a safe enjoyable trip.😄

Yeah that’s true you never know 😁 This time I had luck that he was so friendly and had no problem with my camera.. but I like a 1-2-1 configuration more, it’s simply easier to record my videos 😁 Thanks a lot for your support 🥂

I don't know why they still have that old business class! When already the two another design getting old neither! Hopefully the new CEO. Will do something to get Qatar Airways much better when that guy before him Albaker didn't care about anything! Thank God he goes away! I wanna get back to flying with Qatar Airways when it gets better again.

Yeah, it’s bad that you see everywhere just their Q-Suite and you book a flight maybe just because you want to fly in their Q-Suite and then you get these old seats… On this Journey 2 of 4 flights got changed to another aircraft 😂 Otherwise is the service and catering incredible and I will try Qatar Airways again 👍

Thank you so much 😊 I never received 4711 in an Amenity Kit with a German or European airline. I can just remember my flight with Royal Jordanian, where they offer the original 4711 in their Lavatories 😁

Thank you for the review. Agreed, taking an Uber to the airport is simpler. There is only one terminal in Cape Town, the left side is international and the right side is domestic. I flights out of Cape Town are always full as they cut flights post pandemic. And we always get the terrible planes. I dislike this Boeing 777-300 as the business class is old (the ones from CPT).

No, currently they still operate a few 777-300 and 777-200 with old seats 😢

Haha yeah I feel the same 😁 This configuration is outdated and I like a 1-2-1 configuration more. I mean the seat was comfortable, but I miss the privacy… Thanks a lot for your comment :)

They fly the 2 2 2 configuration on certain routes only, I think the ones they think are flying to / from less financially well off countries. Very irritating they need to upgrade to the same standard on all flights

Yeah that would be so helpful to offer the same seat on all airplanes. I mean some of the 777-300‘s are equipped with Q-Suites and some not… normally it was an A350-1000 on this route but they’ve changed it 5 days prior departure 😂
