Great review. Ive got the 4S with Carbon frame in the mail and im going to try 5x4 props. I think that set up should rock, little less weight, little more prop bite..
@KrotowX3 жыл бұрын
Man, I like these old reviews. Frames was clumsy and fragile, arms broke like matches. Electronics and batteries was crappiest crap in comparing with what we have now. But it was a ton of fun - be in air at first time and see all from above where I fly from "first person". Plus lack of many restrictions what spoil FPV flying at today.
@FLoHIO1173 жыл бұрын
Exactly! I don't even fly fov anymore. Haven't vflown fov as a hobby in 5 years. I still fly my aerial photography business, but it's not FPV. The amount of people getting into the hobby as everything got cheaper and easier to fly made it noticable by the government. Now flying anything is a pain in the ass! I'd rather technology go backwards to where it was, and keep it so nobody knew what a drone was. Those were the good o'l days. I remember people seeing me fly something and they'd think it was so cool! Now they just want to call the cops on everyone a d say anyone flying anything is just spying on them.

I bought the fatshark predator rtf kit with the transmitter and camera and i bought the immersionRc 600mw Vtx also to replace the 250mw Vtx. My question is can I use the connection cable that came with the 250mw to use on the 600mw? It seems the cable that came with the 600 has a molex connector on one end and is bare on the other.

Hey Flo. Have you had ANY problems with those luminier motors on the 4s setup? I've heard that they aren't rated for it but I've also heard of people having success with them. I want to get them but the cobra 1960kv motors are actually rated for 4s, but I've heard that they are underpowered compared to the luminiers Thanks

@FLoHIO11710 жыл бұрын
Thank you and I knew someone was going to ask that question eventually lol. The QAV250 and The Blackout are both great frames. They both have there areas that they shine most in. It's really not possible for me to say which I like best because honestly it would be just my opinion and my opinion shouldn't influence anyone choices. I make reviews as honest as possible and try not to be biased. That way "you" can watch them and see which frame might fit you best.

Okay, so stupid question time... Is that just an m/f SMA 90 on the transmitter so you can point the antenna out the top? Or did you solder one directly onto the Immersion? Just wondering about reception if it is a 90. Also, The OSD seems to be out of stock or I can't find it. The last one I used just did voltage and I was looking for something with GPS. You see I lost my quad in a canyon somewhere and I "think" if I had GPS I might have found it! Don't expect you use GPS but any ideas on one? Oh, AWESOME flying man!! Except I hope you were buzzing your neighbors yards on a work day! Thanks.
