Instead of actually fixing the notch because Apple is too stubborn they decided to advertise a screen saver that hides it. It just goes to show that Apple realizes the notch looks like shit, but they’re too stubborn to listen to their customers.

Philip McAuley wow how fucking stupid you are. The only way to fix the notch as of now would be to either 1. Pit all of the speakers cameras and sensors underneath the display which is not possible at this point in time. Or 2 to make the bezels bigger which nobody wants.

with the lightning-to-headphone-jack dongle issue, Apple is counting on you having to upgrade from a previous model where they dropped the headphone jack to this model, what if you actually have an older device that still had the headphone jack and no dongle but still want to upgrade to this one? you'd still have to buy the dongle seperately
