Honestly I think I would consider this phone, which is something I couldn't say about any previous BlackBerry devices. The bezels are big, but I guess this works well for a business phone, rather than what the average user would want.

I just bought this phone off Best Buy Canada for $200 to use while my keyboard is being replaced on my Key2, and I almost hate to say it but I really like it . The BB flick typing keyboard is incredible , and I thought I would never say that about using a glass keyboard. If the flick typing was used on a newer phone I would be tempted to shelf the Key2. In saying that .....I do love my physical keyboard and will ride it out until the wheels come off, but it's nice to know I will have the Motion on standby if I need it .

Great video. The more I see and hear about the Motion, the more I want one. I like it that Blackberry doesn't feel the need to be like everyone else. Some will say the design s dated this looks good. I only wish that the black used on the Keyone was also used for the Motion. Regardless of that I'd still take a Motion with a 4000 mAh, IP67, headphone jack, DTEK security and a security shade. I hope it will get Android Oreo quickly. The stock memory isn't a issue because you can expand if you need to do so.

Tim, did you notice that camera app was filing those photos to the BlackBerry Locker hence the lock icon that was highlighted every time the shutter was pressed using the home button with the thumb you used to set up the scanner? Hey Tim,,, I'm a big fan of the bb design. The grippy back user friendly material is great. I have the Moto x pure pure, with the basketball material back that is slip proof and grippy yet in my opinion nice. So,, the bb structure is one I appreciate in a phone. Still wish they'd place the front facing stereo speakers on them, for us speakerfiles. P. S., digging the razor phone right now, but a little high priced for me at this time. I hope bb hangs in there, increasing their line. Usually their products are quality and hate to see them overshadowed by all the glass, pretty boy, phones out there now. Thanks Tim

If you compare the Motion to offerings from other manufacturers strictly based on hardware, it's okay, it covers all the bases, but it's nothing to write home about. But if you demand government / corporate level security, it's the must have phone.

Thanks brother for this well explained video. And u are good that u're spending this much money to buy this. Ya this phone is massive, and every time blackberry do good job with every phones. As always i'm expecting something new and blackberry does it. His designs processors and camera are pretty good but as compare to price blackberry offers less storage, camera pixels and less quite with processors also. But its good because after keypad phone blackberry entered to a touchscreen smartphone, but blackberry should be continued with their keypad phones also because blackberry is known for his track pad, unique design, camera, size, their buttons and finishing which users gives a different views and mind set. At recent times blackberry also offered good processors in starting segments like in passport, priv and dtek 60. And Also they can offer different variant of storages, and camera or ram.

amazing phone but I think they can make much better , I mean design of front , button on bottom is unneeded also bezel is massive on bottom , they can make bigger screen without this two options, other things ar pretty cool, procesor is fine, phone works fast. in hand very solid phone with high end quality . I think dtek 60, motion and keyone is coolest phones in blackberry new age!! and yes new keyone will be with 6GB !!! and it will work better then any other phone on market !

Dmitriy Chaikovskiy research it it's beneficial rather than newest 800 processors Google snapdragon processors it'll blow your mind since many see 831 processors and say that's the best I feel it's the worst for smartphones since it kills the cpu and overheats the phone damaging battery snapdragon 800 processors should be in portable game consoles not smartphones

The reason why the iPhone X misses the iconic bezels and homebutton, is because the Motion stole both, stacked the bezels on top of each other, put that under the screen and places the now square squeezed homebutton on top

I regret to see the Blackberry Motion actually. The unit is lighter and lack of glamour. The resolution is far out compared to others. It looks like a very ordinary phone without a word to describe. The impact is totally disgraceful. I'd rather pick the Blackberry Keyone of it's superb uniqueness and durability although its a bit smaller and non water resistant.
