How to undo a bank reconciliation in Quickbooks Online. I bet you have tried to undo a bank reconciliation in Quickbooks Online and just cannot find where to do it! There is no button or anything you can click to undo a bank reconciliation in Quickbooks Online. It's maddening.

I cleared the R flag from every transaction in the month I want to un-reconcile, but when I try to reconcile that month again, it still says that month is reconciled.

Can you please do an update on how to change the beginning balance and actually re do the recon. Switched to online for this and I will certainly leave QB if this is this only way unless you have found a way around this

Ok. I see. So, these are the steps you follow when you don’t have the account’s rights. We have to go to the register and undo each record one by one and this will allow us to undo a month’s reconciliation. Right. ?

@@QbuniversityOrg The only option it gives is a link that says "We can help you fix it", which takes you to a Reconciliation Discrepancy Report. From there, you are allowed to view the history and change the type back to C or R. There is not an option to correct the beginning balance. Please advise, thx!

Go to the Recon screen and choose History by Account. Look at the drop down box next to the recon and there is an Undo option

Ok. there was someone who offered me to pay if I were to reconcile his transactions, which I did, however, i did not have Accountant rights, when I completed all transactions, he did not want to pay, so ended up doing all of this so he wouldn't get anything for free. the nerv.
