Since making this video, I have discovered that if a pattern has a distinct top and bottom (like in the video)...BUT....looks different on the sides, there are a few different steps to take. I am updating the "cheat sheet" with that.

Good morning. You are so helpful. I have a question about when you did your first vertical side, you placed it and said it fits great and that we want to check that. Mine didn't fit great, it was too large. I wasn't sure how to fix that. Do I need to back up to when it was horizontal and resize there? I currently have a practice quilt top on so that I can learn some basics before I put my hard work on. Thank you. Jodi
