Thank you so much…. I love that you do these. I don’t envy you moving, but if you get a big beautiful dedicated sewing room out of the deal then yay you…..and yay Doug for being that awesome husband making sure your needs are taken care of.

Awwww.....thank you for those kind words. I'm indeed very blessed to have such a wonderful husband in Doug. My new sewing room will definitely be nicer ~ am SO looking forward to being moved!!! But this in-between time!! UGH!!! We have piles around the house now of stuff we've purged and have yet to get rid of. Will be so good to come out lighter on the other side!

I have been viewing your videos ahead of helping a friend get better acquainted with her machine. I feel much more confident now, thanks to your quick and easy guides through so many of the features. Your help is much appreciated.

What perfect timing for this video. My wife and I were just talking about the new stagger feature with my mom and dad who were visiting us the other day.

Oh Janet thank you so much! If you hadn't posted this video I wouldn't have known about this wonderful new feature! Honestly there are many pantos that came with QCT that I haven't used because I didn't like the look of them because they didn't stager! Game changer for me! Thank you--I have learned so much from you! I really appreciate your help with QCT! Good luck with your move.

Thank you for this timely video! This video was so easy for me to follow, because you were precise in what you were doing and you went to the designs you wanted without the deciding which one to use. This may seem pointless to people who can follow videos easily, I am not in that camp. I have very poor visual memory, always have had....I've learned to modify as needed...some of your videos are so informative but I have to watch, backup, watch again just to get what your showing. This video was superb!! I hope future videos you make are like this one, because you have so much valuable information to share.

Thanks for that great feedback. I confess....I am totally guilty of "ready, fire, aim" when it comes to making these videos. This was one I did a little more planning than usual and am really glad it paid off for you. I know I should plan more than what I do 😕 .... but that's a reason everything I do is free...no one can demand their money back! LOL 🙂 Proofreading quilt patterns for Fabric Cafe takes a pretty good chunk of my time and I help a lot of people individually with QCT. So I just do what I can with the time that I have. If you haven't watched any of The Quilted Poodle videos, she's great! She has video and speaking skills I can only dream of! This past year has been an incredibly challenging one for her but she'll prolly be posting a lot more videos in the future: kzbin.info

Thanks so much for all your excellent videos! I have learned so much! I have a question about pattern eClipse: what if the applique I want to clip is partially in one zone and partially in another zone? Is this a problem for the computer? Your help is greatly appreciated!

I want a tablet like yours, what tablet are you using?

Did something change recently with QCT? I bought a pattern from Urban Elementz and the way it’s imported is different now? I was not able to import the QLI it no longer works with QCT is that correct? I’m confused on how to import and use the pattern now.

If there has been a change to the file format for QCT, I have not been told about it. I would call Technical Support at The Grace Co and get a tech to help with what went wrong: 1 (800) 264-0644

I have just started QCT 5. If you have to fix something in a zone, how do you go back to pick up at the beginning of the next zone?
@Joyfulstamper2 жыл бұрын
When a zone finishes, you should always pull your bobbin - and then tap Finish so you can mark the placement spot for your next zone, for when you advance your quilt and need to place zone to begin again. If you stopped mid-zone because bobbin ran out or some other issue, then you'll hit Stop and tap on red tool box and select Release Sewing Machine. That gives you manual control. Then you can do what you need to do to start again. Tap on OK to give control back to QCT. Tap on Repair Pattern and get your needle back aligned with sewing path until you are good to Pull Bobbin and Sew, to resume stitching.

What causes the QTC to stop, and says not responding, run time error, or out of memory. This happens after I finish the first zone.
@Joyfulstamper Жыл бұрын
Usually when it says "not responding" the USB cable doesn't have a snug fit. If you have the long cable that goes directly from your tablet to the motor plate (by-passing the machine) that is best. If your USB plugs into your machine, you may want to try this - unplug cable from machine and hold a narrow strip of card stock (or thin narrow piece of vinyl) down in port as you plug the cable back in. That should give it a snug fit but contact the Grace Co and get that long cable so you don't have to plug into your machine any more. I am not sure about run time errors or out of memory - I'd call and talk to a Grace tech about that.
