Have I got a good one for you today. Calling this cleanup a disaster would be an understatement because it was totally out of control for years. There were old plants, pots, rubbish, overgrown weeds and all sorts of odds and ends. It actually looks as if it was a nice area at some stage, but after years of deterioration it was in quite a state. We spent about 5 hours bringing it back to life and took out nearly a full trailer of green waste, and quite a bit of rubbish.
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Reece (Shorts).

FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

As someone with decades under my belt doing landscaping and yard cleanup I have noticed the following about people with overgrown yards: 1) They have a lot of junk in their yards of which they refuse to throw away like weed-filled flower pots, old BBQ grills, rotting hoses, broken lawnmowers, rotting wood scraps and lattices; 2) All of their sheds and garages are jam-packed with junk; 3) They have at least two pets, and spend on average $50 to $100 each month on pet food, pet treats, pet haircuts and vet bills (which could instead be used to pay for monthly yard maintenance); 4) More often than not these people have children more than old enough to help with yard upkeep but never lift a finger.

You always do a fantastic job but watching you take the extra time to look and assess each potted plant & save the ones worth saving, and to fix the hose… that’s what makes my heart melt. It’s the care & effort to not just trim & cut but to actually assess and assist those plants, shrubs & tress. I wish you many more years of success. And a big Welcome to Reece. ❤

There must be a story as to why the patios got to this condition. You and Reece (as always) did a fantastic job. It's amazing how quickly you decide what to do with plants, pots, rubbish and you sure had plenty of all of it.

Georgi, you work like a hurricane, you are efficient and very fast:-) Despite all the possible flowers and various other things, you worked brilliantly to the end, even if he would like to adjust the entire slope as well. Hopefully Reece will get up to your speed and also guess what he should be doing in advance. Predictability is very important. I wish you to be a great team:-) You handled everything perfectly as always and I go with thumbs up and hats off!!!💯👍👍👍🌿

Did you know you chucked away the cover for the little greenhouse frame? Maybe it was torn. Tell young Reece to get some knee pads. I felt sorry for his bare knees on the concrete.
