I know had a FO32U2P, 32GS95UX and the G80SD and the last one is by far my most favorite of all of them. FO32U2P with the unusable glossy coating. 32GS95UX with lower color volume. The coating of the G80SD really reduces reflections while keeping a very clear picture. I was honestly shocked by that.

@@BiteSizeWoW on samsung oled monitors 0-10 is great if needed. Not more. Warm1 1 increases brightness and looks great. Warm2 gives it an orangy glow like you say

Peak Brightness setting not being available if SDR is so bogus, makes the monitor so dim when using sdr content, my S95C allow the setting to be enabled in SDR and it’s so bright at all times, HDR/SDR

Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD (2024) 27" I get it tomorrow, if you remember when i said i will buy samsung i had 0 issue with samsung monitors and problems here we go ! But i had ordered dell alienware in other store i did not get monitor and money back.. they scammed me i ordered 1 month ago Dell 27 360 hz now police is in action and bank and inspection. I spend all together 1.6k to get 1 monitor lol... but tomorrow i go again to police at 6 am to give further information than again i go back to bank... This is the cheapest price for samsung G6 oled... what i can get rest is even more expensive dell 1024 msi 1050 gigabyte 900 all in euros... so i have again samsung. I had 1st samsung lcd in 2004 19 inch 75hz 87hz overclocked and cost was like 800 euros... and it still works but colors are washed. 255428 842,82 € 1 842,82 €

@@Pensioner1203 the URX should look amazing. Try "user" on both preset modes. The premium has too much color. Keepnon hdr with sdr slider to 80%-100%. Depending on what you like. Brightness 100. Night vision actually helps to push more mid brightness if needed.

Today received odyssey G80SD and faced with the problem that when I connect to Mac via hdmi or any other ports, refresh rate 120hz, even if you reduce it to 2k it is still 120hz. Tried all settings, different cables and nothing helps. Who has experienced this can you help me ? Because there was no such problems on MSI monitor.

Not going to lie you should do more gameplay videos on an separate channel. You clearly are dedicated/seasoned. I played all the time hardcore and played with pro’s. Had an opportunity to get an contract on mlg. But that is already 15-16 years ago. I never took that route. Still I see fluent movement, cornering, fast reactions and good accuracy. That was an joy to watch. Can’t wait for the comparison vid. That was indeed clean. Still not 100% convinced on these oleds. If you say the lg one is even better. Then I definitely can’t wait for the comparison. Michael

I have been testing alot of options even vs my 33GS95UE and other qd oleds. The peak brightness options is very weird. On high while looking good for very dark games makes the image no so good when 75% is semi lit. Tey these settings. See my new updated settings in the description

The samsung offerd smart apps (which I enjoy alot) but the LG wins in SDR and Peak HDR highlights. The OLED G8 wins in color vibrance, overall image brightness in HDR and has alot more custom options. Sound is also way better on the LG. Samsung needed to add something like that for more value.

@@xdynamics2561 its only noticable when looking side by side a glossy panel. The G80SD and G60SD matte is better than the LG 27GS95QE. As long as I dont see a matte pearl sheen Im good with it. The G8 has a ton of options to get the picture just right and smart features so it has alot. Dont let the matte naming stop you from getting it if you really are interested..

@@catzzdogzz5228 hi... awesome you here. :) I have finished the video just havent released it yet. But the MAG/MPG are the best OLED's out there. In my video the MAG/MPG both destroy LGs and Koorui and even 27AQDMG monitors. Color vibrance stands out big time. Just know you made a great decision if you want these best picture available. Sure the LG winds in SDR mode but the whole point of these oleds is HDR. Did you uave any questions? The Vs video is coming up soon maybe tomorrow ill have something up.

The slightly updated (little better brightness) LG 27GS95QE-B Ultimately I’ll have them side-by-side to make the ultimate decision and return 1 of them. But, Rtings website does not have a review on the new E2 variant. Assuming the panel and color accuracy is the same from the E2 compared to its MPG 271QRX brother….. *** I would PLEASE ask you to share your best settings for HDR content AND include how you calibrated the unit to achieve the super high color accuracy (Post Calibration). BECAUSE without the avg person being able to properly calibrate the MSI panel, I believe the LG (27GS95QE-B) variant will, WIN, out of the box.

@@DisplayReality Or to lessen the burden of creating a calibration tutorial, you can create a Dropbox and upload a custom .ICC Profile coupled with basic calibration settings from the monitors own OSD. That way we move a few buttons on the monitor like brightness etc and simply download/apply your .ICC file.

Looking on the video... the impression I have about g80sd is that the colors are very poor, the brightness is insufficient, generally speaking the image quality seems visibly worse than on other oled monitors, expecialy if compared to asus pg32ucdm... I am seriously thinking to cancel the preorder I made ... Am I wrong?

look how bright the light is at 4 mins.. the entire video is set in dim/night time lightning for the games mission, could have mixed it up imo
