I reallyvlike the Koorui for PC use. I have not tested the AOC. The Koorui is very bright in sdr and hdr modes.

Is 45" 21:9 more immersive than 49" with 32:9 aspect ratio? I know there is an LG 45" 5120x2160 with 123 PPI coming in late 2024, which I think will "maybe" beat the 49" monitor. What do you think?

I would say the 45" is better due to more immersion and less head movement from left to right. More vertical space is a plus on the LG 45"

Skip the LG WOLEDs of current generation. They are not good for HDR if you care about EOTF tracking that doesnt destroy image quality. The PG and XG27 both add posterization. And the XG absolutely destroys shadow detail by turning everything black, even more so when you turn on the HDR Brightness Adjustable and set it to 100, only way to achieve 1100 nits of peak brightness (2%) but its useless when the monitor cant display dark scenes in movies and still be viewable in HDR.

@@AA-lc3vw the vrr control I only use for pc. Disable it then do the ps5 vrr test. It shpuld pass without enabling it.

Art3d amzn.to/3TPY1jA Use these as they are 19x19 inches. Looks better vs the 12x12 everyone else on youtube uses. Use double sided tape or 3m or even a small bit of caulking to hold. I like white because rgb lighting reflects cool on it. But silver or black look cool too.

Well done. Most reviewers don't have the courage or intention to review such niche monitors (probably don't get paid by fringe brands idk). Thank you for starting the review of this monitor. I have asked BIG reviewers to review such as monitors unboxed this simply because I wanted to know the catch with this being mini led monitor for sub $400. Again, I thank you Sir!

bruh at this price point do u suggest this monitor for content creation and video editing? because there is no other mini led panels at this price point in my country there is just some other IPS monitors

@@mahdi19xx14 you can turn off the local dimming while editing and enjoy fast IPS so you dont have that destracting blooming like I showed in the video. At $300-350 you will be happy. Its a very fast IPS good panel.

In SDR turning off local dimming gives brighter picture while in HDR it is opposite. Not perfect but in ~300$ range this is killer 👍🏻

What HDR format are you uploading in? So many HDR videos don't engage my phones HDR mode, most shorts. This is the first normal videos I've seen activate it

Is there any way to ask Samsung to bring back the DLNA input option to their 2024 lineup TVs and Monitors? It’s quiet bad we can’t consume content from our local network DLNA devices directly anymore , instead we have use Plex or Jellyfin , with some compatibility issues like Dolby Atmos play… The 2022 lineup TVs are still capable to use DLNA as an input source even after the latest firmware updates. It’s really annoying! Thanks!

@@mahdi19xx14 turning off local dimming in sdr makes it brighter but lower in hdr. I need to keep local dimming on high to enjoy gaming. I still think the ktc and Koorui are brighter in both modes. Its nice overall at $300ish.. mini led at this price is awesome vs couple yrs ago.

When HDR "on" the brigtness setting is lock, but we can tweek the brightness or contrast in Amd/Nvidia driver right? And it will fix the dim display.

Actually shadow detail is missing. On all lower priced monitors. Koorui, or xiaomi. The nvidia option wont help with mid brightness or shadow detail. If it does then great. Peaks are great at the cost of mids.

@@DisplayReality Ahh I see, I haven't tested it myself. Btw, some unit will have firmware bug when change colour space from native to SRGB/DCI-P3/ADOBE RGB, the display will become red tint. How to fix it, from standard mode > select energy saver mode > back to standard mode. Second bug, when turn "on" HDR in windows (mine windows 10) it will cause this red tint bug too. How to fix it, Turn HDR on monitor OSD "off" and back to "on" Mine has both HDR and Colour space bug. Im planning to return this monitor and will repurchase it when they fix the firmware, the bug bother me so much.

I bought the GS version from Amazon last month and had returned it because when I would have anything remotely bright note is not black the 4 corners of the monitor would dim and the only way yo get it back to the same brightness as the middle was to have some really dark or black in the corners but then it would just repeat the dimming process again, I spoke to LG and they told me that it could be an issue since it doesn’t say that, that model has something like that but I wanted to know from your own experience if it’s true

I dont see any issues. Sometimes like on woled I did see more banding but I did a panel refresh and it fixed it after doing it twice. But that cpuld be a factory issue. But normally I dont notice anything bad on the qd oleds
