Thank-you, Ronald! I am a huge Rush fan but could not justify the price without the 5.1 mix. It looks beautiful and I appreciate the opportunity to see what I am missing. It looks like a really high quality package for nothing but the top 1% devoted (or richest) Rush fans. I, too, opted for the vinyl version. Thanks again for sharing! Are the cats included?

The 5.1 mix was not possible because the original tapes were lost

That is what we were told by the curators of the box set but I find it a bit strange that Mobile Fidelity was able to release the album in 2008 as an original master recording using the original master tapes. I wonder whether they were misplaced after being returned from Mofi or if Mofi lost them. Your cats have great taste in music! 😀

@@josephrobertmah3438 The original master tapes are 2-track recordings with the original mix. To make a 5.1 release you need the original multitrack recordings and those tapes were lost
