Hidup memang tak selalu bisa berjalan sesuai dengan harapan kita, mereka telah melakukan yang terbaik yang mereka bisa. Apa daya istirahat yang hanya kelang 1-2 hari dirasa belum cukup. Pertandingan maraton sangat menguras fisik dan mental pemain pastinya. Menilik rekor kemenangan mereka yg sangat fantastis, dan telah menjadi juara di turnamen level 750 ke atas dalam kurun 2 minggu ini bukan perkara mudah. Sebagai fans sangat wajar kecewa ketika mereka kalah karena itu bukan karakter Minion dan mereka salah satu yang sangat mampu diandalkan hingga saat ini, bandingkan dengan yang lain yang terus kalah dan tidak berprestasi sampai kita pun berpikir "gw mah biasa aja, ga terlalu kecewa, udah biasa ini". Melihat fakta prestasi mereka dalam kurun waktu 3 tahun terakhir ini sangat jomplang dengan yang lain, ketika akhirnya mereka kalahpun akan termaafkan juga bagi sebagian besar fans Minion. Siapa tahu lepas level 500 Thailand tapi dapat JUARA DUNIA bulan ini, bukankah itu sangat fantastis karena mereka belum pernah mendapatkan tittle tersebut sampe saat ini. Selalu optimis dan support mereka, dan tidak ada salahnya kita menaruh harap yg tinggi kpd mereka karena hanya merekalah yang "mampu" saat ini. Selain the Daddies, yang lain please lah!!!... mana prestasinya, Minion tinggal menang 3 titile aja lagi tahun ini udah menyamai rekor "fantastis" mereka dua tahun sebelumnya, ngga malu puasa gelar terus. Kalo sekiranya ga mampu berani bilang mundur kasih kesempatan yang lain untuk maju atau berani tukar pasangan sekalian seperti Hendra/ Kido yang berganti pasang dengan Hendra/ Ahsan, siapa tahu ada hasil seperti mereka. Marcus sportsmanship is way better than Kevins. The game I previously watched Marcus made a few mistakes and Kevin was giving him faces left and right; here Kevin made so many mistakes and Marcus kept his composure.

Kevin and Marcus can only work as one... Marcus will power everything if Kevin will take risks at the net for the kill, and Kevin will take risks if he trusts that Marcus can cover the replies. However, Endo/Yuta were just too solid today; fast speed and good defense. They just take on Marcus' smashes and play extremely patience, very rarely take unnecessary risks to end a rally. They just play placement and so much variation that Kevin couldn't guess where the bird was going next. Kevin played very respectful today.

I love both of those pairs! A lot of people like to compare Kevin and Marcus with the greats like CAI/FU and KIDO/SETIAWAN, the way I see it is simple: in order to be a true legend, not only skill matters, also mentality is a huge part. The reason why the aforementioned players are remembered is due to their stability of performance and consistency. It always pains me to see a pair like Kevin and Marcus exit early in tournaments like the former LEE Young Dae, whom often ranked number 1 with YOO Yeon Seong, KO Sung Hyun, and JUNG Jae Sung, but eventually unable to win ANY major titles like the World Championships and Olympics (in MD discipline).

Tbh They were too tired to continue 3rd game, Look.. how could Gideon keep playing on front court and Kevin take responsibility as a back court player there, Kevin's defense's not strong anymore and Marcus had no power left to do hard smashing. And their opponent is one of the strongest pair in terms of defense in the world right now. So what do you want to expect. Actually after winning 2 more prestigious titles than this one, to see them standing still and keep fighting until the 3rd game in quarter final is really incredible for me, and one more thing they did all of it in less than 3 weeks with 1/2 days off, could you imagine that? I'm not making excuses now, Endo and Yuta were better in that match, I think The minion need to prepare more to challenge next title that they haven't won yet. It is BWF World Championships.

Not a wise decision by MD Coach to sent Minons, Ahsan/Hendra, just sent Fajar/Rian Playing in this Level 300 tournament, what are their thinking, why dont prepare for World Champs that`s more important.
