My opinion are Swiss the best Airlines in Lufthansa group.Great work

I think so too. Lufthansa business class has suffered in the past few years. Swiss is better in First for sure and now their business has surpassed Lufthansa especially when compared to Lufthansa older a340s, 747s. Swiss 777 is much more consistent then Lufthansa in Business class and First Class.

Very smooth vlog. It's so nice to leave NYC on a nice flight on a wide body traveling to another country. And I'm attached to the Airbus A330 family🙂. Have been on the A330-200, 300 and the 900NEO, which is the advanced A330-300. But haven't been on the 800NEO. Hopefully soon! Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

Haha, you caught me at 3:50 walking out with my phone 😂 (I was probably busy supervising and ensuring everything was ok.) I can’t believe I walked by and didn’t know it was you! Im glad you enjoyed the service. I know, T1 isn’t the best terminal at all, and good thing you weren’t at gate 9, which is much worse. It’s a bottle neck because of an unfinished restaurant that Idk when it will be built. Soon, everything will be redone and we will be able to properly serve our passengers better!

The food looks great, including breakfast. I love Chobani yoghurt. Would love to fly on their A330 one day. My only flights on Swiss were on the tiny Avro regional jets from Switzerland to neighboring countries like Italy and Spain.

T1 isn’t all that old, but it was never designed to serve so many people and airlines and as a pre-9/11 design, it also wasn’t designed to have such extensive security. It’s planned to be replaced soon.

Swiss, Austrian and Brussels Air are not members in the Star Alliance , they belong to Lufthansa Group.

Lufthansa Group and Star Alliance are 2 completely different entities, as Lufthansa Group is not an alliance like Star Alliance, Skyteam or OneWorld. LH group is the owner of multiple airlines, just as IAG is.

I’m curious, you got the amenity kit in an Victorinox tin? I just flew on SWISS earlier last month and it was in a mesh pouch. Did they just change it when I went? Anyways, glad you enjoyed your experience too! I agree, it’s definitely the top 3 best European airline for me for the food alone. Once the hard product gets standardized, it will really stand out :)

They just broke ground on a new terminal 1 in Sept. They are really working on the airport these days with new terminals. I would have been more concerned about the very outdated cabin on that flight.

Nice video. I flew Swiss business A330 out of chicago this summer. I felt the seat very stiff and barely could sleep. IFER i found very outdated . Otherwise food and flight crew were top notch. I had better experience on their renewed 340 .

Very cool flight you don’t see many Swiss air livery anymore since they broke up the original airline after the dc10 crash in Newfoundland I believe it was after making last contact with Moncton atc back in the mid to late 90s due to a devastating fire caused from the first of its kind online gambling terminals on their airplanes which caused a fire in the electrical and overheated computer system. Always wanted to fly Swiss air I had no idea they even had another airline under Lufthansa!

Swiss Air is the new Lufthansa when it comes to service and meals. Food is a lot better with the chocolates etc. and this is the 5 star airline in 2022. Singapore Airlines I heard is bad too. I have watched all of Zach's videos aka theplanesguy

So give SQ a try and see by yourself I can say they are still not back to "pre covid level", but still much better than any western airline Unfortunately on 5th freedom flights like JFK-FRA they have adapted meal service towards bad level of European / US airlines.

Not yet but those Centurion lounges can be very hit or miss depending on the airport. I’ve been pretty underwhelmed with the few I’ve been to (I know Seattle was one of them)

Well since Swiss is operating all of their flights from Switzerland, flights with destinations in Egypt, Morocco and Ukraine aren't long-haul flights. They're all less than 4 hours.

In the US drinking age is 21 but in Europe most countries its 18 meaning pre departure beverages in Europe for Quintin but not in the US at least for me I can if I want to have a pre departure beverage
