Flew on that exact flight in November but I was back with the crowded masses. I agree that Zurich is one of the finest airports. Extremely clean and very quick getting through check in and customs. I recognize one of the flight attendants at the door from my flight.

I flew on a SWISS A330 to Zurich from Chicago in Economy! It was on HB-JHM, which I believe is the 2nd-newest A330 in SWISS's fleet. After that flight, Swiss has been my all-time favorite airline!

Look like twin mountains flying over Turkey (18:38-18:55) is MOUNT AGRI (ARARAT). Northern and higher one is called the "Greater Ararat" which is the highest peak in Turkey with a height of 5,137 m = 16850 feet.

Why does the tail fin remind you of an ambulance? Because the the Red Cross was originally founded by a Swiss citizen, Henry Dunant, who was horrified by the slaughter at the battle of Solferino in northern Italy in 1859. The International Red Cross adopted the Swiss Red Cross which, of course, appears on the Swiss planes.

If you take the Swiss Livery for an ambulance, you prove that you do not distinguish between the Swiss flag (white cross in red field) and the Red Cross flag (red cross in white field). In my opinion, their can be no mistaking the Swiss livery for an ambulance. Once again I have to complain that it is impossible to read the menu lists because they are presented too fast with even missing some parts. The flight map is also my favourite FE feature.

Hands down Changi Airport. LAX has potential - went there last year and found getting through pretty efficient. I kept hearing horror stories from friends and relatives about what it was like, but was pleasantly surprised. Flew Sydney to LA on Virgin Airlines, not bad and they may not be around much longer if they don't have a buyer. Have been Zurich Airport a couple of times and found it great

I agree that it's nit-picky to charge First Class (or even Business Class) for wifi. It should be part of the ticket price. There are airlines that offer free wifi to economy!

I was on the same type of plane with air Canada between Montreal and Geneva. Service was okay. We used Swiss international between Zürich and Chicago. I liked that airline much better than air Canada. Lots to watch on the onboard entertainment. Saw 3 movies in a 9 hour flight. Food was great. They sure don’t want you to stand and wait until a bathroom is available to use though.

I’ve been through Zurich. I was coming in on a USAIRWAYS flight from Philadelphia and connecting with a Swiss flight to Copenhagen. Great airport! Honestly, though, Copenhagen Kastrup is my favorite airport. I’ve flown on the A330 many times with Scandinavian Airlines. Great plane!! Wonderful review!!

Craig Willis Yes that’s because the Red Cross was founded by a Swiss, Henri Dunant. The Swiss Flag was around before the Red Cross was founded. All Henri Dunant did was invert the flag.

My favourite Is Doha Airport. Went there in 2015 serving as a Stopover on both Qatar flights from Edinburgh to Pakistan and back. Very fast transfer from my Boeing 787-8 to the Terminal to Security. Everything was done efficiently and fast. Everything was quiet and I had a comfortable hour and twenty five minutes until my next flight. Better than Dubai as I didn't have to wait 3 hours for my next flight
