Friendly correction: Frankfurt is not now nor it had ever been a German capital :) Berlin is the capital now, whilst Bonn used to be the Capital of West Germany during the cold war partition. Oh... and by the way... Amsterdam is also not Capital of the Netherlands 😂🤣 The Hague (Den Haag) is and had been ever since the Dutch freed themselves from the Spanish colonisation. We love our American visitors 🥰 (Otherwise, an amazing video, and even more amazing price you've managed to find to enjoy first class luxury, congratulations - skills that you do have are far more important than knowledge of European capitals 😎)

I was about to go there. The closest Frankfurt ever was to being a German capital was the Frankfurt Parliament in 1848. (Then, you needed to be a history buff to know that.)

Sorry you are confusing the capital ( Amsterdam ) with the administrative and governmental centre , The Hague . Amsterdam IS the capital .

For all of my 57 years of life this far I believed The Hague was the Capital 🤣😅 In fact it is officially designated as "The Seat of the Dutch Government" which in your country appears to mean something different from the notion of the Capital City. I also wish to say that I remember seeing something resembling a Royal Palace on my walks around your town. And remember wondering to myself: "But what is it doing here? Why it is not in the Hague? 😂🤣 Too many joints being smoked in the vicinity and the overwhelming smell of burning dope was obviously affecting my reasoning at the time. I apologise 🙂 Anyway I think Naarden should be the Capital, I also love s-Hertogenboesch and of big cities Eindhoven is by far my favourite. Netherlands is a very nice country, every time I was there, I enjoyed my time. The Dutch are kind and hospitable people. Thank you! ❤️

747s will always be the best airplane product of all times. I have flown the 747s all over the entire world since 1970. I do not understand the demise of the 747s == fuel costs, etc. ? This video was absolutely superb and highly enjoyable.

The new Germany was born in May 1949. From then until 1990 Bonn was our capital. After we got reunited with the GDR Berlin is our capital. Place of all government buildings and our parlament. Lufthansa wasn't allowed to fly to Berlin during the cold war. Only Pan Am ( USA ), Air France and British were allowed to fly from West Germany via three airways to the island West Berlin. During that time Frankfurt developed itself step by step to a intercontinental hub. Lufthansa resumed flights from December 1989 on. Their promise to make Berlin their main hub again was never kept. Frankfurt is their Nr.1 hub followed by Munich. Berlin doesn't play even a small role in Lufthansa's movie....

I’m with you on the lie flat seat. I saw the seat control and I was like you mean it doesn’t turn into a bed? 🤦🏻😂 plus you get the upper deck and the lie flat in business class! I’d want all that although all that food looked delicious. 😋

I started flying Lufthansa First Class back in the ‘60’s when they had their 707 Intercontinental Jets. At that time, their First Class service was dubbed “Senator Service” and if memory serves me correctly, the red rose served as its mascot … a tradition that is still present to this day. My favorite seat/s are either 1A or 1K. 😉👍🏻. I really enjoy the inflight experience aboard Lufthansa and of course when transiting in FRA, I schedule a couple hour layover to enjoy the First Class Terminal to refreshen up with a hot shower or soaking bath. Then lunch and continue onto Sweden or Switzerland depending which Sibling I’m going to visit. Chicago O’Hare still holds a special place in my heart (even though I don’t live in Chicago anymore) because my childhood home was only 5 miles East of it. Thanks for sharing your experience Q 😉👍🏻. P.S. IMHO, those Polaris Passengers on that United flight above you are not even remotely close to enjoying the experience nor food quality that Lufthansa Business Class Passengers are. 🫤

Ive done this many times and the terminal is amazing. There’s nothing like a soaker tub after a Trans-Atlantic red eye. Being driven to the plane and they put your bag in the overhead, such an amazing experience.

Here are the airlines that you should rake in the near future: JetBlue Airways: New York (JFK) - London (LHR) B6 1107 (29A) Play Airlines: London (STN) - Keflavik (KEF) Icelandair: Keflavik (KEF) - Seattle (SEA) Delta Airlines: Seattle (SEA) - Anchorage (ANC) Alaska Airlines: Anchorage (ANC) - New York (JFK) I am also encouraging you to upload a little bit more trip reports as often as possible, similar to your upload schedule prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as encouraging you to take the following airlines on this list. Icelandair currently flies Boeing 737 MAX between KEF and SEA, as well as a WOW Air successor trademarked as Play Airlines. I'd suggest you'd try those airlines, as they have great onboard products. Hope to see these trip reports on KZbin in the near future!

It does look like a very good value for the money. On my last economy flight there was a baby across the aisle, a baby in front of them, and a baby behind me. And general airport washrooms can be horrendous by mid-day (get a VIP or First Class Lounge).

A great video. I like Lufthansa, but have only flown them once to Europe from the U.S.: SFO-MUC-MAD, and then MUC-SFO. It's wonderful to hear that they are keeping the few remaining Queens of the Sky flying for years to come, but I'm curious and do want to make sure I understand this deeply discounted airfare. Were you already in Tunisia when you went to Chicago, or did you have to fly to TUN from somewhere else to start this trip, and if so, where did you come there from, and how much more was that added airfare? 🤔

Next time, try a dollop of caviar on the toasted bread, and add some of the other toppings. It will mellow out the saltiness of the straight up caviar, and the other add-ons should compliment the flavor nicely. My personal preference would be to skip the caviar, grab a couple of those pretzels, and wash them down with a beer! 🍺 Prost!

Just flew LHR Frankfurt to San Francisco on 747-8 Business. The seat was more comfortable than Swiss Business 777. Not as much as much food as First, but I certainly didn’t leave hungry and the cabin crew were friendly. One even addressed me by name!

I’m perplexed about the fare. Would it not be better to use a VPN to put you in Tunisia or an equal type of market, then purchase the correct segments for the fare? I work for a medium sized International airline and we would 100% cancel the entire trip if you didn’t show up for the flight as booked.

Yes if I wasn’t to show up and check in at Tunisia the reservation would’ve been cancelled. I actually had a miserable time in Tunis, the police detained me to search every inch of my bags and demanded I pay $10 for my luggage back
