When I joint multiple segments of road, the vertex are not in same order. For example it would start some where in the middle as 0 and to one direct and then jump to another section, is there way to re-count the vertex number from one end to another?

Thanks Hal. This method could also be useful for verifying the correctness of gpx-tracks. But I couldn't find the 'Vertex compare'. I later discovered that the plugin requires QGIS 3.20 or later. I'm still stuck at 3.18 ...I need to update

Yeah I usually update pretty quickly so I can find bugs and report them. Thanks for watching I didn't even think of validating gpx files with this method.

Appreciate it, I've been doing ok, I've just been working and learning more, and trying to help people solve problems. I have been pretty swamped with new problems from all over though lol, but I do what can to the best of my ability. Hope you and yours are doing well, and living life to the fullest.
