I'm not sure why research would have to be done to understand the 'zones'. We need to be able to process potential threats in various degrees of proximity. Having someone very close to you that you don't know or like is 'they're close enough to stab you without you being able to defend.' Anything else is 'how much time do I have to react to a threat?'. The more time, the better. Animals do this all the time. People whom you know and are close to can penetrate the 'zones' at will, once you trust them. That's why the term 'getting stabbed in the back' is nothing more than being attacked by someone you trusted, someone you let in that zone. Enemies don't 'stab you in the back', unless of course they're literally stabbing you in the back.
@clown-eating-hippo4 жыл бұрын
That's a great theory. For it not to be mouth diarrhea, you'd have to provide some kind of evidence. Maybe make some testable predictions. You know, research.

@@clown-eating-hippo Maybe it is just 'mouth diarrhea.' Maybe it's observation and experience. I don't really need research to tell me someone is standing too close.

@@LughSummerson LOL. And what sort of research would reveal a likely culprit to watch out for?
@OriginalPiMan4 жыл бұрын
@@pistonar This research is a matter of taking the obvious observation and quantifying it. It is obvious enough that people being close to one another can be uncomfortable, depending on the nature of the relationship.
