Qiake'ertu #2

This is the town center of Qiake'ertu, an administrative and market center of the region. It houses the main governmental offices associated with the project. In addition to the life of townspeople, Kazakh herders from the region pass nearby on their pastoral migrations, and as its on the main highway between the regional capital and Altai, there is a significant trucking presence (including coal from inside the Karamai reserve), connecting the area with the region's main urban centers.
