I bought one of the Luban small shoulder planes. I'm happy with it, it works well - more than adequate for my weekend use.

Thank you Steve for the informative video, a year later the Lie Nielsen and Veritas counter parts are still out of stock so this Luban is becoming the only way to go 😉

I went with the Woodriver. I checked all the Record 2506's on the bay store but wasn't happy and no..I definitely can't afford Mr. Nielson.

I refuse to purchase anything from the ccp if at all possible, especially tools. If I can't find a Made in USA or England product I do without.

Record 2506 rip off, only not as well made and not as easy to set. I'll stick with my old Record thanks
