What speaks for it: Vernestra was the only jedi recognizing Maes skills as jedi-training back in episode 4. However: Why should Qimir not confirm Oshas suspicion, that his hedi master gave him that scar? Qimir already wanted Osha before to turn her back on the jedi a few scenes earlier. That would have helped him.

Dude, him literally killed her friends. She wasn't expelled; she said herself that she left because she wanted to. It's not their fault. Literally, one of them was a childhood friend and went to arrest her because she was accused of murder. They even brought a witness. He literally had no reason to believe she wasn't guilty. And when Torbin died and she reached his corpse, he defended her. The Zygerian helped her even though she barely knew her and was very kind to her. This guy is a psychopath, and trying to portray him as the hero is bad writing

It’s interesting that not only the witch coven worships the Power of Two, but Qimir wants to claim or use it in some way. So it definitely has a meaning and not just was limited to the witch coven. This episode was kinda boring on its own, but it was a bit interesting. I’m glad we’re getting more reveals for the characters so the foreshadowing is finally paying off
