Her best mindscape is her M1 not M4. M1 gives the entire team 15% def shreds and gives her 20% CR. A stun unit that can shred def is absolutely busted. M4 just give her a bit of energy and more health.

Qingyi's built to last. The way her dmg amplifying capabilities and additional ability works ensures that she will work with any future attack unit. Koleda and Lycaon's additional abilities are niche. They can still work as stunners in any attack centric team, but their additional abilities become wasted if the added requirements aren't met (same attribute or faction).

Nah, I think going foward, most limited characters will have very good synergies like this. Zhu yuan started it with any support, and now qingyi. And honestly her dmg amplification isn't too insane. I'd prefer to run a limited support to get that amp Her kit is good, but her red flag is having to be on field most of the time to generate enough daze, especially since she doesnt daze fast enough. They say in some cases even anby dazes faster. So she'll always be great with burst dps who don't need to be onfield like Zhu yuan, but dps that need to be onfield like Ellen, she'll fall off since her daze won't be impactful in the short amount of time she'll come in. This, in addition to the ice res shred is another reason why lycon is still better than her for Ellen since Lycon builds daze faster

@@theothersideofthecoin3125 Going forward, we will get more general units. However, like Genshin and HSR, more and more niche units/supports will start being released after a certain point in time. It becomes a matter of preference at some point where it becomes: do you want a unit that works well in almost any situation, or do you want a unit that excels in a specific situation. Koleda will excel in comps focused on chain attacks. Lycaon will excel in ice comps. However, all they bring outside of such comps is stun. Their supportive capabilities become obsolete. But I understand what you're saying. It's only a matter of time before Qingyi becomes powercrept. It's unknown as to how or when, but as of the moment, she's a solid unit and we can only go off of what we already know and have. Anyway, regarding the whole "slower than Lycaon/Anby to stun" situation, I'll just hold off on any opinions until she's actually released. From what I know, multiple reputable TCs vouch for Qingyi's value as a stun unit despite what some people are saying.

@user-ot4ly9dp1c Don't get me wrong, she's a great unit, literally the best stunner in the game. She doesn't have some of the downsides of current stunners. Anbys combos are slow, and she needs to complete them to get max daze, and interrupting them to dodge is a problem. Qingyi doesn't have that. She can continue her combos after dodging. Koleda is slow, Qingyi is super fast, lycon is locked to ice teams, and Victoria, Qingyi is a universal stunner and has higher daze multipliers So, in essence, she's better than all of them. But my issues are, when i look at her going forward, she has a lot of drawbacks What I've noticed with these gachas is that, usually early on, a generalist is good, especially when you're lacking in most areas. But as you go down, you tend to want to maximize your team roles since eventually everyone will have lots of characters. And to max your roles, a character has to excel in an area or have something broken Nicole, for example has something broken that won't be replaced completely for while. 40% def down, 15% crit rate, 15% ether dmg is too good. They may release an ether support that buffs ether dmg 300% with other good stuff, and tailor it to a dps, but if the person doesn't have higher than 40% Def down, then you may still use Nicole in some comp. Her Def down is her marker cos its huge, and why she's seen as the best support even for Ellen teams at higher levels (cos of higher enemy def) It's like with hsr, each unit has lots of good features, but they have that one feature that others don't have that makes you pick them for a team And why Qingyui does have good features, they don't seem like glaring useful features that can't be replaced 1. She does aoe attacks, and can stun multiple mobs at once. If mob dazing is the reason you want her, People will prefer to group them using Nicole or Ellen or even lycon or any future character with such effect. 2. She has 60% daze amplifier with 25% dmg amplification, and if thats why you want to select her for a team, people will prefer to use a support with higher amplification 3. She's easy to play and can continue her combos but will remain on field longer. At higher levels, you'll want to max your dps and this reason will die out fast. Like she doesn't have a standing out reason to be picked. If for example she had say prolongs daze state by 30%, or say, impact is increased by 50% every 2 secs the longer her combos continue pass 5 sec, she'll have great standout features. So that if you're up against a boss with fast regeneration from daze or has a long daze meter, you'll know she'll excel there. Right now, she's just good and excells nowhere

@@awilywolf Jane Doe would want Seth anyways, so going for Jane Doe is great as you're farming for 2/3 of a team. Meanwhile Anby Mindscape Cinema is mostly a damage buff so M1 to M6 doesn't really improve her stunning capabilities by much (M2 being the only one that gives some extra Daze). However, this doesn't stop her for being a solid Stunner for a 2nd team.

isn't it kinda hard for Qingyi not to be our 'favourite stun character' in the game atm? She's literally the first limited S-rank stun agent; her 'flexibility' is obviously great especially becuse of her Core Passive just requiring an Attack unit - but this is seemingly going to be a continued trend for all limited S-rank agents anyways. I'm just wary of how they're going to try and sell the next limited S-Rank stun agent that they release aside from either clear powercreep or by making a 'anomaly stun' hybrid to differentiate.

@@Luftgitarrenprofi yeah, or about how *much* better / more value the unit would add to your account based on the characters you have. For example, scenarios such as 1. pulled for Zhu Yuan, 2. Have/don't have standard S-rank stunner ; or factors like 3. do you have another S-rank DPS for your other team(s) .... etc.

She's good for burst dps like Zhu yuan, but a dps that prefers to be onfield 90% of the time like Ellen, Qingyi will fall off. She doesn't build daze so fast and requires to be onfield a good amount to build enough daze. She's great, has a great kit but I can see her easily getting powercrept by a new stunner who builds daze significantly faster or has a prolonged dazed state mechanism in the kit. So...pass

It's her one and only con. That dmg buff isn't the core purpose of a stun agent. They are meant to stun the enemy 'quicker'

I'm gonna skip her with all of those that she offered, my team already have Ellen and Zhu yuan as damage, Lycaon and Anby for stun, Soukaku and Nicole as support. I purposely pull 2 limited attacker at first because i need proper attacker to last long, and the other just support them and they're perfect enough for it. This is a gacha game, of course everything new usually bring something "crazy" to the table, but just like i said, a newer one will bring something again and the cycle repeat itself. But who knows if she will be last long enough due to how good she actually is. At the mean time, I'm quite comfortable with my team. Gonna focus on what i have because it's still morning and let the time speak for itself.

The more I play the more I realize that stun units that want field time are bad. Qingyi does at least deal more damage and can compensate through her passive... but what you are actually doing is stunning through defensive assist. Even for Lycaon. I need almost 2 full charge-attack cycles to get the same daze as one defensive assist. And Lycaons damage is *horrible*. So the important question is how easily she can build up her stacks with that in mind. If you have your stunner out for an extensive time, you are playing this game incorrectly imho.

I have Zhu Yuan and I think she is really worth it. Even though it's very early, I think ZY-QY-Nicole team is just one of those teams that will stand the test of time. Together they have high burst damage, good stun, high mobility, valuable buffs + debuffs, melee & ranged and a decent gather (even moreso with the Bangboo). I currently need a second DPS (Lycaon is my other Stun-DPS lol) however having 1 cracked team early is always nice because you can just brute force everything outside of SD. Lucky for me, Corin is on her banner too.

When you say that Anton has a better aoe with his ultimate it makes me think how cruel is the energy and ultimate economy in ZZZ, because you would want to save the ultimate for the main dps only after all so the support, stun and def units ultimates are very low priority, so I'm glad that Qingyi's AOE is in her NA

Lycon is better than her for ice team Lycon dazes just as fast and in some cases faster Lycon has ice res shred Lycon has daze multiplier although lesser Lycon doesn't need to be onfield most of the time to be effective, hence allowing Ellen do her combos and max her dps. Qingyi needs to be onfiled to max her daze

Don't you want her in a mono team anyway? Stripping the enemy of their anomaly with disorder every so often is a pain if you need the anomaly for enabling drive disks etc.

I'm not really a fan of Qingyi's character so I'm going to skip her. I do like the precedent they're setting with core passives triggering by running with other roles, rather than element. Much more flexible and scalable for future teams

I have seen people use Lycaon and Qingyi, but I have yet to see a Qingyi build up as fast as a Lycaon, they all say she does around the same or a little slower but in all the tests I just don’t see it 💀

Exactlyyyyy She's not worth it to me. To me a stun unit should as the class suggests, stun significantly faster than other units. And as a limited 5 Star, she should stun significantly faster than standard 5 stars, which she usually doesn't. I've even heard in some cases Anby stuns faster. She has a great kit, and can Amp dmg, but I'd prefer a limited support doing that. Imagine having to play her in a team comp where you need the dps to be on field most of the time, like Ellen, you won't be dazing as fast since she needs to be on field most of the time to Daze efficiently

Her trade off for the DMG buff is her stun ability The only buffs she has to her daze is on her additional ability and her M2 for a total of 35% more daze. Even anby's goes all the way to 64% and she's an A rank smh

QingYi is just a luxuary stunner compare to Anby, F2P player can just use Anby. Yes, less damage and slower daze but F2P better save to get more DPS characters IMO.

Funny enough, I've even heard Amby dazes faster than her in some instances. Qingyis biggest red flag is being unable to daze significantly faster than standard characters and requiring a lot of time to daze. She'll fall off fast

Basically if you aren’t looking to get into anomaly she’s a must pull for any acc. Anomaly has no clear path at this current time and since there are many anomalies coming out but zero stuns in the next 10 leaked characters or more. I’ll also say if you wanna cope it’s not like you can’t clear with Anby you just gotta have much better gear and much better skill lmao.

Pull if you like the design or personality or playstyle or if they work with a character you really like. Any chromes you earn in shiyu defense from pulling a "meta" unit will never pay themselves back in the vast majority of cases

It’s clear to me that Hoyo is whalebaiting with these early previews. They know that a child character with Billy and Corin on their banner isn’t going to sell well, so they’re drumming up hype. Jane is clearly the standout character in 1.1 but it’s almost like they don’t have the confidence that she’ll sell well. So they’ve given her a banner that’ll be perfect for Qingyi skippers. That said I’m yet to understand the point of Anomaly since Attack/Stun is so much more comfy

My guess is variety. Consistent damage vs burst damage basically. Stable vs hectic gameplay. It does help to have different ways to do damage so things don't get boring so quickly imo

Anomaly can be seen like dot or super break in HSR. You don't need crit stats just anomaly mastery, proficiency and atk.

I feel like Qingyi is extremely WEAK, despite being a limited stunner. Lycon buff the DPS by a whopping 35% during stun, PLUS he debuffs enemy ice resist by 25%. That is a MASSIVE WTFBBQ multiplier. Koleda is much weaker but still buff chain attack by 70%. Qingyi buffs NOTHING, all her stuff is pure selfish and unless she stuns WAAAAYYYY faster Lycon (which I am not seeing) whats the point? A 600 attack selfish buff is a joke compare to 35% dmg buff to DPS, or 70% chain attack for the whole team. Stunner will never be useful as a damage dealer because you are missing 2 main stat (impact disk + impact weapon are useless for damage), and with how dmg is a multiplier of different stat buckets, missing 2 base main stat means its simply not possible to catch up since the difference be multiplied many times over. A universal stunner with no buff is a joke.

You took the time to YAP this much but not read her kit? 😂 She can give up to 50% stun damage multiplier. Now, this one I'm not sure if it gets a separate count from the limit of 20 stacks, but if you time a perfect dodge, she gets another 10 stacks so that means 75% stun damage multiplier. And if you're against an normal or elite enemy, that gets DOUBLED so she can give 100-150% in total vs. Lycaon's 35% lmao. I have Lycaon and Koleda too, but let's not be delusional just because you don't wanna pull, no one's forcing you to get her.
