The grin on her face when the journalist mentions the Dior deal. You've go to love it. Great to see and well deserved. One of the most exciting players to watch and a great competitor.

A bit too cocky / arrogant for my taste but yeah everyone has a different opinion.
@dandresaldi4 күн бұрын
@ I agree, maybe she is a little arrogant but I also agree with what she said & also Raducanu & Kyrgios, you have to believe you can win, there's no point to play if you don't think you can win. Kyrgios even said that he thinks he is the best despite reality not backing it

You are liked by the public for a reason! You are compsed, sweet, kind, clear, respectful, honest, smart and focused on the overall improvement! It shows in your beautiful, exqusite tennis style on court! You remain down-to Earth and positive with the mindset unaffected by the stardom mentality and arrogance!

That's a good comment Michael. She's a true winner because she is charming, honest, humble and confident. A very special young woman. It's sad that so many interpret her self-confidence as arrogance. It's not that at all.

She was right to slightly deflect the question about what is good about Aryna. Best not to compliment her too much and give her more confidence, a lot of the men do that to their own detriment.
@thecookie00794 күн бұрын
U can compliment sb lol it actually shows how much you respects sb. What she does is arrogant and cocky…😅 There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging another player. (The World No.1!) But we saw her lack of sportsmanship and bitchy attitude many times so it’s nothing new.

Poor Raducanu she lost her Dior sponsorship because she's not winning matches. But she's still super rich so it's not so horrible.
@minguyen25894 күн бұрын
did Radu lose it? thought she was still with them
@user-hm8nb5jr3w4 күн бұрын
Raducanu is not poor (literally), she did pretty well financially with one big win. She is set for life. Tennis is a brutal business, when one is not performing, sponsors dump her/he. Understand she gets injuries, but that doesn't give her a pass for not winning a title, not even a 250 title in more than three years.
@yuehanslam15932 күн бұрын
Many tough and excellent players in this tournament but I am certainly betting on her . In the second set, a couple of her shots remind me of the great Chris Evert's master strokes...

Damn! Not only drop dead gorgeous but how impressively articulate she is with the English language!! Expresses her opinions so well! She's a great talent and a top athlete who is capable of winning it all! If I'm to pick a sore spot it would have to be her sour attitude after a loss! But perhaps that is her way of expressing just how much she wants to win every time! Zheng is Champion material for sure! 👍👍👍
@notapplicable42834 күн бұрын
I don't think her "attitude after a loss" is any more sour than others. Iga sometimes doesn't even shake the ref's hands (e.g. Olympics loss, and more recently, the United Cup), the Putintseva/Ostapenko's have her beat by a longshot on attitude when losing, and she's not a Collins-like Karen. It's unfair that this is a focal point on her because people choose to believe the infantile machinations of bitter billionaire heiress who can't handle losing to her.

How come I never saw that?
@AlbertoMartinez-qo4yg4 күн бұрын
Yes, you’re right… I think it’s because she demands too much of herself. It’s not an excuse, I know, she’s just a human being who doesn’t know how to react to losing. That’s something she needs to work on, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that she’s a good person. We all have things to improve.
@trommelbiel4 күн бұрын
@AlbertoMartinez-qo4yg l don't think she can change. It's her nature. Her Chinese compatriot Zhang is lot friendly.
@dandresaldi4 күн бұрын
It's her approach, she has explained it before. She told in an interview that she is not there to make friends & that if she became friend with other players it would be more difficult to play against them. For her it's 100% a job & she is not like Sabalenka or Rublev that are very friendly with everyone. Her handshakes are strange specially when she looses as you say but I think it`s more related to her own anger & frustration than to the other player
