I use the guide, find it very helpful with keeping everything straight. This is great that you are doing the fit videos, I have most of the feet but only seem to use just a few of them, totally forget I have the right foot ha. Love watching you both together.

I have found that a test block is always the best arbiter of whether you need a 1/4" or scant. Not all fabric is the same even though the thread and the pressing techniques might be. But never sew a scant when you need a point (e.g. flying goose, LeMoyne Star, Triangle in square).

Does the B570 come with the quilting seam guide (rod thingy) that can attach to the 1D foot?

Howdy! The rod thingy looks like it does NOT come with the B570....I had to look it up, cause I thought that was strange! Looks like the rod thingy begins to show up on the 7 series machines. We are kinda stumped, as all the older machines came with them!

I’m sorry but you are wrong about 37D and 57D. They are compatible with 9mm machines as the 9mm machines are the only ones with dual feed.

They are indeed compatible.....they just aren’t the best!

I have a 480 and I have a 97 foot but this is a 9 mm machine. Am I supposed to change a setting in machine to 5 mm??

Nope! The 97 is the right foot for a 9mm machine!
