Hi, I will be purchasing my 590 machine soon, so am viewing all your videos to educate myself. I don't want to sit through a class "dumbfounded", as I feel I take longer than the next person at learning new things. Thank you for the thorough explanation of the machine. 😊

I bought my Bernina a few weeks ago, in the midst of the pandemic. These tutorials have helped me so much. The information is what I needed - and did not get from the Bernina manual - but just as important is the crisp, matter of fact delivery that tells me, 'you're in charge of the machine. not the other way around.'

Fantastic video. I appreciate that you went slowly through the cleaning and oiling. That is so important. I’m learning many things. Thank you so much! You two are great teachers!

Great tutorial! You are correct, taking that first class is a bit overwhelming. Thanks so much for creating this tutorial. It's a great help in reviewing what was taught in the class. I look forward to part number two. Your tutorials are always great. Again thanks so much!

From Bernina website on C feet The letter "C" stands for coded presser foot and refers to the sensor that specifies the stitch width to the sewing machine. For BERNINA sewing and embroidery machines with a maximum stitch width of 9 mm. The soles are longer and wider than on the 5.5 mm presser foot.

Right after I watched the tutorial I did the clean up on my 2 month old 740. All went well but then my lights would not come on. I restarted several times and they would blink when the I started but wouldn’t come back on. What do I do?

Did you check to see if you might have accidentally turned them off? We showed that in the tutorial....maybe you were clicking along with us?

@@QuiltingInTheValley I looked at the settings and found nowhere where I could turn the light on and off. Can you tell me where that switch is?

How often do you oil the machine?
@QuiltingInTheValley

Before you start sewing each day you use it, after 8 hours of continuous sewing, or when it starts to sound louder.

HELLO LISA: I HAVE B790 WIL YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 790 AND 790 PLUS
@QuiltingInTheValley
@QuiltingInTheValley 4 жыл бұрын
The 790 plus has pinpoint placement, thread away, jump thread cutting, multi format file reading, and on screen design editing. The 790 does not. It’s all in the embroidery!
