QK 75 vs Zoom 75 Mechanical Keyboard | Which one to choose?

Glad I was able to place my order for the same exact z75 white se from keebzncables a vendor from aus a few days ago. I was so conflicted at first because of the shipping fee, but after calculating all the fees and taxes it turned out I only needed to pay $30 extra. I feel like the $30 extra is not too bad being able to buy the specific color in se that I like, good thing too, is that all the add ons I wanted to get were all available when I placed my order, considering that all my local vendors were sold out and confirmed to me they wont have extras for the add ons i want, and on how lateee I am since the gb ended for the zoom75. Also, the Zoom75 has two key option if you wanted those extra keys. QK75 doesn't. One of the reasons why I didn't order a QK75. Honestly, they both have exploded nav which is why I ordered a JRIS75. And yes, I'm keeping BOTH my Jris and Zoom.

Just want to note, the Zoom75 isn’t an exploded layout (QK75 is), and the 2-key module only gives you 1 extra key compared to the QK75, as they’re both F13 layout. Although for some reason the Zoom omits a key in the R nav row, even though it’s not exploded, so I don’t know what that’s about. The QK also omits the same key, but exploded layouts often do because “it looks better” or something idk Personally I find that 1 extra key to be quite useful, and it would be nice to have the option for a non-blocked top right in the QK75. There’s the knob version, which basically accomplishes the same thing though, so really the Zoom75 having the 2-key module isn’t really a win over the QK75. It’s just a difference between the 2 in how the top right is utilized

Nice vid mate, I have to say I think the QK75 looks much better. The Zoom75’s redesign really killed the look for me with that weird humped back (the original looked great, but obviously it was redesigned for a reason). I know you don’t always see the side profile, but it’s just so awful in my opinion I don’t think I could get over it. However, not everyone thinks it looks bad, and I’ve seen quite a few people that like how it looks

@@missrespectful I love the way the keyboard covers the side of the caps. My favorite from the top and forward. Its really the back of it that is unappealing and looks disproportional. It isn't' that big of a deal considering your going to be looking at the top and front for 95% of its usage.

i agree. the QK looks like budget wind series so i really look forward to their other releases even though i haven't found any layout from them i want to jump on board yet
