Let me share you quick build guide for QK65.
For this build, I chose POM plate, lubed Gateron Oil King switches and GMK Civilization Clones to fit under the budget category.

Did you lubed the oil kings by yourself or have a take them stock? I know they are factory lubed, but if you added some more.

did you leave the switches stock? or did you apply lube? i know the oil kings come pre lubed

I relubed the switches. It already came prelubed and done quite a good job!

I heard somewhere that you should remove the pads at the bottom of the stabilizers, makes it less mushy

Can i ask is the silicon case damperner already with the stock keyboard or you buy it separately

comes with the keyboard but i would suggest to leave out the silicon dampener as it made the sound of the keyboard more muted and less thocky

There's no way you didn't overlube that first stab housing or have I been underlubing mine my entire life?!

I overlubed left shift and removed the lube and restarted. Typing test was not over lubed.

Oil king vs epsilon you think switch is king thock sound ?

Never try epsilon but oil king is really smooth bottom out sound. POM plate is also what makes it thock

I think the tape mod isn’t necessary for this keyboard coz it’s already sound amazing without it.

Yeh. The board sounds fantastic even without tape mod. Owlab stabs are also amazing that you don’t need holee mod.

Evenly thin lube. I overlubed the left shift when building and have to remove the lube and relube again.

Just visible enough. It is always good to Unlubed than overlubed.
