Just make sure you are in an open environment with good airflow and have respiratory protection. You don't want to be breathing in fr4 (fiberglass) particles lol

Tofu jr, as this group buy sadly ended two days ago. I know that’s disappointing but I hope you enjoy whatever board you get. There are plenty more qk boards planned (I believe their next one, a tkl, is coming early next year) and hopefully you can grab one at some point.

I’be only heard of the jr tofu but haven’t had it hands on so can’t say much. On paper, it does seem to look like a solid kit all around. But for the price, I’d still go for the qk75, it’s value is really hard to beat.

I know this is more of a personal preference thing, but do you enjoy Milky white more or E-White? Which of the two has more "compatibility" (looks good with) more keycap sets?

I would say e white is definitely easier to pair than milky white. But milky white is a nice change as e white is popular amongst many builds

What was your bad experience with owlab stabilizers? I didn’t think I’d need to get tx stabilizers cause NearLucid said they are pretty good.

My main concern is the wires being unbalanceable due to the material. This means if the wire comes bent from factory, you cannot bend it back. The housing holes are tighter designed to reduce rattle but eliminates the possibility of holee modding if needed. My experience could have just been a one off though.

I notice that everyone who builds this board puts on stabs then cuts the PE film to fit, if you laid the PE film down first isnt there slots for the stabs? is there a benefit to doing it either way?

Yes, you don’t have to cut the PE foam in you layer it before installing the stabilizers. However if you do that, the stabilizers will be significantly dampened

I have a question, since im new to the custom keyboard world. Having only a plate foam, in general would reduce the noise of the keyboard? While having PE, plate and case foam would make it louder?

In this build, yes. The PE foam helps emphasize the sound and lower the pitch

Unfortunately, the only thing about this board was the 8 degree angle. Will wait see what zoom 75 will have to offer on top of 5 degree angle.

That is true, I found the typing angle of this board to be a bit too steep. Should probably look into getting a wrist rest if you are buying this board 😂

This is pretty much an end game 75% board at a not so premium price. Boards over 200 bucks need to innovate to make it worth the price for people to choose that board over the qk75. The only 2 things that are "cons" here that its not an in stock board like the Keychron Q series boards and per key rgb. Hopefully, it will be an in stock board after the group buy ends and it would be the best 75% in the market. There's really no reason to buy more expensive 75% boards if you have this around IMO.
