Awesome video man. I've been looking for a setup like this for a while but wasn't sure how to do it. Now I just need to worry about sending the midi signal 30-50m to where the computer is for lighting hahaha.

KLRCat No need as the Raspberry PI is the computer and that is hidden under the screen on stage. I then run another DMX cable to my DMX Splitter from the raspberry PI that use utilises a usb to DMX interface. You technically don’t need a computer at all and depending on the usb splitter you can run multiple universes.

Brilliant. I was given an FCB1010 long ago and just dug it out to use with QLC+. First step will be to get it talking to my laptop. Any tips on initial setup? Drivers? Configs? Thanks again!

Hi Josh thanks for this video - I'm going to be playing this video quite a lot in the coming days as my FCB1010 is inbound from Thomann right now. I'm also using QLC+ although I don't have a many lights as you have. Did you ever configure tap tempo on a button to set the chase speed?

Hi Andy, yea I did get there in the end! It was sometime ago but I do remember cracking it. It’s a bit of a clunky video on reflection, however, I hope it serves to help!

@@citymariner LOL 3 Replies!! Seriously, I just spent the last few hours setting up the buttons and calibrating the pedals. That was doing my head (pedals) as they were either on or off until I did the calibration. I've got the basic button config done now just need to sort out the tap tempo for the chaser speed dial. Can you remember what you did? Thanks again for this video, VERY much appreciated.

@@AndyWragg apologies I was in a low signal area so think it acted like the pedal did before I made the above video. 😂
