Thanks for the video. I was able to swim at the Gold Coast during mid winter. Great one day, perfect the next!!! Hope you enjoy realising your dream from your vision. Yes, Visioning is totally empowering.

Great video! For underneath the mattress, I put a few of those square rubber mats with holes in them that you buy at any camping store in a packet. They help with both comfort and condensation. Also, at 3:22, i thought it was a lion😅

Thanks for the tips! This one comes with a condensation mat which is great!

Under your mattress I would put plastic drainage mat as used by nurserymen under pot plants, that creates an air-space under the mattress, and have a small 12 volts computer fan to suck the air from under it, so that air gets under from the pillow end, and exits and the foot of the bed. That stops any condensation build-up, and keeps the mattress dry. If you have a separate house battery, you can use 12 volt electric blankets. They work well if it gets chilly. Alternatively, one can use a truck diesel heater and pipe the hot air up into the tent through a metal or plastic aluminium lined pipe designed for hot air, then through a pipe entering the tent through a silicon rubber grommet sewn in to the tent fabric, or glued in place using neoprene cement. A mattress topper will make the bed seem a little softer. For an auxiliary battery, I use a 200 ampere-hour LiFePO4 battery charged from the vehicle's engine alternator via a DC/DC charger and a voltage sensitive switch to stop the battery from running down the vehicle's starting battery once the engine is turned off. However, I am towing a camper trailer, and I do not own a UTE--but my next vehicle will be along the lines of yours even if I keep the camper--which has one advantage--a hot shower in private.

Fabulous, Sarah Rose! My 18 year old granddaughter has just announced that she & her bestie & their boyfriends are taking off to circumnavigate Oz, heading from Adelaide to Perth & then on up the coast, doing a spot of surfing & fishing on the way. Told her about you & maybe she will bump into you somewhere in this wide brown land...You are pretty brave doing your trip by yourself. Travel safely!!!👍

Thanks Sarah for sharing that epic episode with me. Definitely enjoyed every minute of it. Your camping setup looks amazing . I want to buy myself a Rooftop tent this summer and get out there and start doing some camping and exploring. Those swimming holes look amazing. You should try a mattress topper in your Rooftop tent it probably will make it super comfortable for you. Because there is nothing worse than a uncomfortable sleep

Thanks, Sarah. How do you manage to finance being on the road all the time? Petrol costs a small fortune in S.Africa, about 2 of your dollars per litre. I really enjoy the videos; places I'll never see.

Sarah, just wondering why when you’re sitting in your car, it always looks like you’re driving a left handed vehicle. This was also the case in the Suzuki for the last few videos. Also have you put your personal plates on the Mazda yet as I noticed them when I first started watching you last year. Like the way you’re transforming the Mazda into a new touring vehicle for yourself and your personal needs.
