lead pkayer on Les Paul has listened to Henry Vestine more than once. this is a great band. reminds me of canned heat. I saw the "heat" @ the goat's head in Raleigh,NC in june '74. Henry "buzzed" a while courtesy of an old gold top Les Paul & a big stack of SUNN amps. again, this band kicks major ass 🎸🎸🎸🎸

I saw Luther several times at the Silver Dollar Club (Saloon?) in Mpls. many years ago. Good times and I always waited for his cover of "Sweet Little Rock and Roller" to finish his set. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

In the 1800s, the expression “get up and dust” meant to leave in a hurry. In the Depression-era South, where the song likely originated, “dust my broom” meant to get out of town in a hurry.
