One of my friends had a similar issue, He constructed 6 room house along with his father. Now after his marriage, his parents had kept 2 rooms in the name of their daughters who are already married. My friend says , he will give his sisters the property share as per shariah but not in the house he resides in. Because it will create privacy issues and insecurity for his kids. Although he is ready to help her sisters to construct their own houses. My friend told his parents that as per Islamic teachings , even if a person has two or more wives he has to keep them separately. So in one small house three family from three different areas will create social disorder. In another case, my colleague's ancestral house was partly occupied by her three sisters who are already married, so in utter frustration he left the house and also village to live somewhere else . Thankfully he was well off to settle again. Conclusion: Parents shouldn't deny their daughters their rights, but they must treat daughter in law equally, secure their future . Giving shelter to a girl is the duty of her husband not father. So, in property distribution between kids, care must be taken about who deserves what?

That is where a good upbringing comes to step in...if one is raised properly, he/she knows wht to do.....in laws must too consider daughter in law as their own daughter ...and that daughter in law should also love her in laws like her own parents....if sometimes mistakes happen on one or both sides, one should be forgiving and considerate ....nobody is perfect in this world and we all have to depart so better thing is to make adjustments and live happily
