Yes. I don’t think Mitch gets enough leads on their original songs. I guess there’s also love again and Na Na Na. Scott confirmed Mitch has 2 leads on the new album coming up. He’s my favorite voice of the group and I wish they’d lead with him more. I’d love to hear more Kirstie and Matt too.

Awesome reaction. Thanks. "Ref" is one of my all time favorite PTX songs. I love "Water" too. Kirstie co-wrote it and she did a fabulous job. I hope that you watch her sing it live at the Popspring concert. The 4-song video on KZbin was posted by a fan so copyright should not be an issue. The entire video is around 15 minutes.

What a great reaction/ dissection of 2 of my favorite songs from this album!(my 3rd is Misbehavin") I kept saying, what? ...I never heard that before LOL! It is all Mitch in the beginning. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform Water on tour and it has a great visual on stage with a shot of a drop of water splashing on the downbeat at the end of Kirstin's phrases. I think it is on the Pop Spring performance that so many have suggested. Can't wait for the next one! #QoFyGang

Maybe it's just me, but the "wuah wuah wuah" sound in Ref reminds me of the Mario game soundtrack from when he goes underground to the dungeons (not sure about if the current soundtrack is the same, but the the one from the early-mid 90s).

I like every PTX song, but here I have a strong preference for Water because it has the high level of harmonies that is characteristic of PTX, while Ref was very repetitive and lacked those harmonies. I'm sure others will prefer Ref, but the combo of Kirstie's great lead and the heavy use of harmonies really lit me up!
