The season lasts about 3 months from auditions to the Finale. It used to be a lot longer back in the day with only one cut each week, now they do multiple cuts unfortunately. It's gonna go from top 12 to top 10 next week to top 7 to top 5 to top 3 and then the Finale will be on May 21 which I fully expect Iam to be in.

He also had strep throat during this Performance which he was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to sing this performance. There’s an interview where he talks about it and someone on the show had take something to help his throat the day of the performance. Could not even tell. He sounded great. Thank you for sharing
