I got the Ultra now for 2 days , woow , what good quality. A bit better than my X4. Some negative points ? litlle, but the Ultra on a selfstick feels like a brick on a stick. The Ultra is pretty heavy. take more space. The software is good but SLOW, like insta360 studio at the start. But if you see the footage, its makes it all good. The option to connect with a Bluetooth mic is super.

The footage seems to be better on the Qoocam 3 Ultra than the one from insta360 X4. My question is how easy the software is to edit, in comparison with the editing software from insta360. Thanks for your videos.

❤i shoot 8K on my X3 yes X3 to day and it playes in 8K resolution on KZbin (5,7K do not) tired having lots off batteries laying around when upgrading to a new camera it should be the same battery 🔋 for all 360 cameras like “Makita” has for all 270 tools in the 18volt series

Not the first time that we've seen 10 bit video in a 360 camera - Kandao provided it on the Qoocam 8k. There seem to be several features in common with that camera, so let's hope that the problems aren't also shared. I'd be interested in a comparison between this and the 8k to see if they've fixed the problems and how they compare, but Im in the minority of people who still have the 8k. At least they are using a removable battery on this camera - it prolongs the life a lot if the battery isn't ballooning up inside the camera.

Right now the ultra 3 has significant stitching errors especially with photos. Not so noticeable in videos but the photos are unusable in VR because the stitching errors stick out like a sore thumb! Nobody is talking about it but Kandao has no immediate fix for the problem.

and insta360 is clearly making the X cameras bigger and heavier each generation, i would not be surprised X5 will have inbuilt GPS and a bigger lens.

Thank you for the heads up and looking forward to the review! Either way, from the start I will assume that the editing and software features of the X4 will be faaaaaaaaaaar superior to the QooCam's. My question is, will it be possible to import the QooCam's files into the Insta360 desktop studio app? The reality is that for me 50% of the user experience of using Insta360 products is how awesome and easy it is to edit on their software. Thanks again :)
