that's a weird format for enduro. strange having check times and special tests like a timecard but you're not having to stay on time, big rests between laps instead. the original timecard format we race in England you have your start time, and set off in groups of 4. the first lap is slack giving you a chance to suss out the track and warm up. there will be a timed special test which is sometimes part of the normal lap, and sometime split off from the main lap which you ride 2,3 or more times depending on your ability group. depending how quickly you complete that first lap, you may have 5 mins to rest or more. then the lap times start getting tighter, you may get back to the check and only have 2 or 3 mins to rest before your next lap. you need to stay on time to avoid penalties. the winner at the end of the day is obviously the person with the least penalties and the quickest special test times

We had the same format and had to start each loop at the certain time on the time card ,but was the clubs first time running one so probably stuffed the time allowed abit and it had to allow for all the classes. Usually the time is a lot tighter
