Reza, you never disappoint. It is always great to see you fly and hope to see you again in person one day soon. Awesome sauce!

I really can't tell you that. I love both planes. The things that Yak does with enormous amount of throws and stiffness of the composite ailerons/plane is certainly refreshing. I really am enjoying it a ton. Right now, all I am taking to the field is the Yak but I will go back to my extra soon. Both awesome planes, I'd say the Yak feels better in precision both do great 3D.

Thank you. JR 8911HV servos, PowerBox SRS Cockpit (video shows this by mistake), DA-120, Mejzlik 27x12TH prop, Spark Switch for ignition and Duralite batteries for receiver (2) 2600 Li-Ion.

I would use the 27x11 Falcon or Mejzlik 27x12TH. I love both of those props. I think you will be very happy with either.

We are at Camp Pendleton. I met you at a Tucson Shootout, then at the Flying Cirkus Fly-In at Vegas many years ago. You didn't even know me that well, and you let me fly your QQ Yak. :-)

My friend, you are safe using it at 40 or 50 to 1. Oil doesn't help much with temperature reduction, you need descent baffling for that. RedLine Oil will keep your engine lubricated and reduce the wear on the rings and carbon build up. Have fun! I've never been to Dubai. Maybe one day :-)

Thks alot Reza for the answers. By putting a da 120cc will a falcon carbon prop of 28/9w do well with it
@CaptainsAviation

Both will do that. I think the Falcon is a little quicker but both are great and almost instantaneous!

Raza there was two major design problems on the engine mounting 1st there was hollow gap between the engine mounting and the plywood from back side so once I put blind nuts to it start cracking

Thanks Malik. Yes it is too soon. Allow me to learn the plane and break the engine in. This was only my 4th flight.

I totally remember that! Every second of it. You did some awesome 4 point rolls! Awesome. Come to OCMA let's fly. You are more than welcome as my guest. Do you still have your 102? I let you fly this plane. You will not believe how agile and capable this plane is.

Thanks for the reply I was using 35ml to 1 litre so there wanted your opinion to increase the ratio to 40ml to a litre

the 100cc will fly both the Yak and Extra fine however, I would definitely recommend the DA120. All those airframes deserve the 120 for maximum joy. I have no idea about the Krill. Never have flown one but one of the most beautiful planes out there. Just not sure how they fly and what weight they come out. Krill would be the most expensive out of the bunch. I'd buy the Yak and put a DA120 on it.

Have you been on my build thread on FG? Do not modify the dome to line anything up, you need to kinda force them in and they will go in. As for cracking, yes, I had that and fixed it. Please stop by my build thread, it's link is under my video description.

Hi Raza just wanted ur advice in the oil mixture. I am living in Dubai where the temperature during the morning hours is 32c* If using redline oil in da 120cc what should be the ratio.
@CaptainsAviation

Any other question will a da 100cc b suitable for the qq yak or will it b to underpowered? I have three options of planes 1 qq yak 54 2.6m 2 krill extra 330sc 35% 3 hangar 9 extra 300 35% Every plane is good in some way or the other but need the right combination of hard 3d & precision flying. Pls advice what would u recommend ?

Hi Reza could u tell me which plane u enjoyed more to fly the hangar 9 extra or the qq yak? Really require your honest opinion.
@CaptainsAviation
@CaptainsAviation 11 жыл бұрын
Don't increase it anymore. It's already too much at 35 ml to a liter. Too much oil isn't going to help with the heat but can cause carbon build up. You also lose a tad bit of power because power comes from gas not oil.
