Eigenlijk simpel om te maken als je eenmaal weet hoe het moet. Maar het uitleggen in een tutorial lijkt me eerder nog moeilijker, dus bij deze gefeliciteerd, Qui 👌👍

You do such a great job with these videos. Well done😀. I recently purchased a Korg Pa5X having been used to the Yamaha Genos 1. The Korg is quite different, more configurable and therefore more complex and less intuitive than the very simple and much less configurable Genos). However, I like both machines for their individual strengths, and paired together you have best of both worlds (though I couldn't justify the £4K price tag for the new ~Genos 2....well not yet 🤣)

Hi Rob, I always follow your video tutorials, recently I installed the 1.3.0 update to the Korg Pa5X. I saw that it is now compatible with the TX16Wx software sampler. This is very convenient. I hope that very soon you will make a video tutorial on the procedure of how to create a sound or drum kit with the TX16Wx and load it onto the Korg PA5X.

Is there a way either in the PA5X or in software app online to take a song like an MP3 or wav song and generate the style - for at least the drums and percussion?

for experienced users: yes, but in general,: No. the procedure is: audio to midi in a daw (for instance Ableton, then create a midi file with the correct korg labels and import the midi parts that you have captured from the audio. But again, this is way to complicated for most users. It's much easier to play the parts yourself or use loops that you time slice in the pa5x and add those to the styles

When copying the tracks why doesn’t some of the tracks don’t sound in tune or out of key when using intro1 or ending1 ?
@quirobinez

intro 1 and ending 1 are always style / song specific intro's, if you copy also the elements of other styles into intro 1 and you want to use intro 1 ( I never do that, I always use intro 2 or three for those styles), then you have to modify the copied variations, so that they match the lenght of the other parts and you have to check if the copied parts are in tune with the other parts. Since Intro 1 and Ending 1 are set to notranspose, they play the exact midi phrase that was entered during style creation, so it's quite possible that they don't match (for instance a song intro in major where you copied minor parts in). Now if you insist to create usable intro 1's and ending 1's, then the most easy method to solve it is to export your current style to a midi file. Import that midi file in your daw and change the parts over there. Then import your changed style in the current style again and everything works as expected. But I think for most people this is way to complicated and they can manage with intro 3 (or 2 if it fits within the style).

@@quirobinez thanks for that. Would it be possible to create a generic intro1 and ending1 that is not song specific?
