It's this kind of thing that adds to the theory that Qrow is actually Ruby's dad. I mean, she shares nothing in common with Taiyang. And knowing that Qrow's semblance is constant misfortune for people around him, It'd make sense that he asked Taiyang to take care of her like a daughter, because it makes it easier to protect her from himself if she thinks he's just a cool uncle. But you can see from all their interactions throughout the series, He's always put her wellbeing first, be it playing games with her. Teaching her how to defend herself, and always making sure she's safe even at the cost of himself. Examples being he's the one who taught her how to use a scythe. When he visited vale he made sure to play videogames with her after his meeting with Ozpin and catch up. And then this scene where he's in the middle of a heated battle, Ruby may have gotten knocked out by the falling beam, but instead he gave up his advantage to protect her instead of give aid afterwords.

Both daughters, Ruby and Yang take after their mother's mostly, I see a connection between Ruby and Tai because of their cheerful spirit. Im speculating that Ruby's mother told Qrow about those with silver eyes and the dangers of having them, so either she had him make a promise to protect Ruby and care for her, this can be why he cares for her more than he cares for Yang, Yang is a natural combat powerhouse and can take almost anything that comes at her plus she doesnt have silver eyes, so she is less of a target for Salem, so he doesnt have to protect always.

That can easily overpower qrow, cause ruby used her silver eye powers on cinder, causing lots of problems. Ruby didn’t even know she had silver eyes. Is summer knew how to use her silver eyes, and was a seasoned huntress, she could have easily been the most powerful

See, this is how you effectively use a swear word. A lot shows that are not exclusively for kids are either 100% no swearing or there's like a swear word in every third sentence. But when you have a show that mostly no swearing, putting one or two in at key moments make them far more powerful and emotion driven and an overall more impactful statement. I'm not against swearing and all and it doesn't bother me, but it just gets annoying when someone has to say "fuck" in every sentence and it's weird when you awkwardly try and avoid using them in a situation where a lot of people might swear regardless of their normal vocabulary. Also, rant on the effectiveness of swearing aside, this is a super good fight sequence and the music is badass.

Zakkir Zack I noticed something. When he touches someone, even their weapons, he has that glowing effect which seems to weaken people. When he was grappling with Jaune’s shield, there was no glow. Maybe his Semblance canceled out Tyrian’s effect?
