Throughout this roll the piano misses a lot of notes and at the end the air motor is not liking the weight of the roll so it gets jerky. Sorry in advance!

Hey William, The "stalling" near the end of the roll is not the air motor failing. If you watch it, you will notice that it still keeps turns consistently. What you need to do is SLIGHTLY tighten the play brake which is the arm on the top of the transmission that rests on that chrome wheel. I think that your problems with repetition are 2 or 3 fold. The piano action might need regulating by n experienced piano technician and/or the stack poppets might either have too much play in them or lost motion where they meet the piano action, and/or the stack pneumatics might be "overthrowing" their travel and thereby "choking" the hammers against the action. Sounds like a good potential. Beckwith were good pianos sold by Sears and Roebuck.

It's a tired old mechanism with several problems. Some of the missing notes could simply be paper chips in the tracker bar. A Kleer-Note tracker bar pump could solve that problem. Still, good enough for popular music. I'd avoid the Rossini.

Several non--functioning notes and poor repetition (not the fault of the roll) but great fun anyway.
