That's because when meltdown happens, the fuel cell locks are on so much pressure to not break, so when they are unlocked, they blow right out.

So, a few tweaks I would make. After the code black, have the radiation kick a few seconds to a minute later and/or slowly build up, increasing in dps over time, that way you have enough time left to live for the whole "1-3 seconds apart" thing to be the prevalent issue. Rhis way you also have time to shutdown the reactor AND get out alive. Another thing I would do is update the phase 1 shutdown ending to make the text sync up with the speech better... And add a phase *2* shutdown ending. This is an audited form of phase 1, with the same _structure,_ but more fitting to "the primary shutdown failed, but someone tried a secondary proceedure."

I was with like 2 or 3 securitys and shutdown failed and I was in the core chamber with some people with neo coils on the reactor and this happened when I was gonna eject the fuel cells when phase 2 but it failed and I was too angry that I almost killed my pc

It's what I'm getting too. Something doesn't add up. After the nerf, getting the fuel cell to eject is way harder now. unless there something we're doing wrong. you'll most likely won't be able to get it.

Unfortunately, it seems you can only eject the fuel cells after the announcement of "you can eject the cells as a last resort" and, even then, the window, based on my observations, does not come down to whether the cells are ejected simultabeously, but whether you eject them before falling to the radiation... In which you apparently only have a split second to do without the aid of coils.

Because phase 2 is not actually intended to be made in the lore, they ejected the fuel cells on the reactor. Everyone was evacuating till the reactor suddenly stopped.
