basically the event itself use disenfectors to get rid of zombies - ❌ Activate facility wide quarantine and destroy everything - ✅ edit: if the innovation security had more than 2 IQ, they could've activated full facility protection or smth and neutralize the zombies. i think that blowing up a entire research and power generation facility is NOT A GREAT choice, as i said they could've activate facility defensive systems and activate wide facility lockdown.

They have a thermal nuclear warhead that can destroy the entire facility without leaving a trace of life, but instead of activating the warhead, they activate the self-destruct sistem. So why have a thermal nuclear warhead in a facility if you're never going to use it?.. is it only there for some infiltrators to arrive and activate it to destroy the entire installation?.. the truth is that that doesn't make any sense

However, if you successfully made the core meltdown after the heli left but before triggering the apoclypse ending, you may get the not so smart ending, maybe bunker, but NOT the escapist (locked under military control) and true ending (the one where you walk out from the main road exit, locked bcuz of quarantine)
